They say it as 2 different things. FHD+ doesn't automatically mean WUXGA.
FHD+ is 2160*1440
I like how it's just a few people who think they're smart enough to find out something like this... But don't even care to look hard enough.

I also find it funny that you random people on the internet expect others to believe you and your conspiracy theories over a trusted Manufacturer and a trusted review site like GSMArena.. You probably wouldn't be the first one to find this out if it was actually legit.

But, for your information FHD means 1920 x 1080 Pixels. FHD+ Plus means anything ANYTHING above 1920 x 1080 Pixels. If you multiply that in a calculator FHD amounts to 2073600 Pixels and FHD aspect ratio is 16:9. Now, coming to Snapdragon 625, it can support FHD+ i.e., upto 1920 x 1200 Pixels which is termed as WUXGA which amounts to 2304000 Pixels i.e., upto the maximum of 16:10 aspect ratio. Finally coming to Xiaomi Redmi Note 5, its display resolution is 2160 x 1080 Pixels which amounts to 2332800 Pixels in the aspect ratio of 18:9 which can't be supported by Snapdragon 625. Whatever you see on the display of the mobile is a stretched image to fit the aspect ratio 18:9. To believe or not to believe is your wish. But facts are always facts and can't be manipulated according to our likes. Good Luck.

        Mi A1, better camera and performance. Less battery life.

        Personally I like bigger screen and battery than camera and performance.

              redmi 5 plus display resolution is 2160x1080 so, the processor handles graphic and display of this excellent phone perfectly

                    Hello readers, to explain more about pixel upscaling and the problems that'd be encountered with Xiaomi Redmi Note 5; It is like watching a 720p video in in 1080p TV. The software algorithm which is used for this pixel upscaling will always reside in memory and will clash with other applications which would make the device slower. Though it can be argued that the Snapdragon 625 has multiple cores it will not function like the x86 cores since ARM architecture is entirely different and the Operating System is different. In a Windows desktop a monitor is an independent entity whereas in a Android device it forms a subset of the device's entity. Moreover, the display of an Android mobile acts not only as an Output device but also as an input device through touching. This would make the device slower in all the applications comparatively.

That's why i haven't even tried it - if there are no serious bugs, you better stay with the preinstalled version.

                        Mine is 9.2.3.0 and the box is all in english, so it's the official edition, but i couldn't figure out if only chinese versions forcefully flashed with the global version hav ethis problem or any phone with 9.2.3.0 and earlier versions.

                                  Unfortunately display is almost black in portrait mode when used with polarized glasses (For most phones, display gets dim in landscape mode).
                                  Anyone having Nillkin 9H protector and polarized glasses to share if the protector fixes this?
