According to reviews, Indonesian version is actually plastic build (with metal brush / coating) instead of aluminum. That's how they made it to sell under Rp1m. This phone is clearly targeted to gain market in very low end segment where many local players currently conquer.

So some Indonesian here says Redmi 5A in Indonesia will actually be priced at IDR1.5-1.8mil once it goes official in retail and most online shops... I thought it's gonna be its final price tag at IDR.1mil... At that price i'd better off get 2-3 years flagship phones, used Redmi 4,4X or Redmi Note 5A which has bigger screen.
