This is what I think could happen, Redmi 7A come with SD429, Redmi 7 with SD439 and Redmi Note 7 with SD632, the reason because Xiaomi are known to downgrade their next generation phone chipset like what happen to Redmi Note 3 & 4. More worse if Redmi Note 7 come with SD630 instead SD632 or SD636. Look to Redmi Note 6 Pro still use the same chipset with Redmi Note 5 Pro/ AI Dual Camera. Xiaomi dont have a ball to upgrade its to SD660 like what Asus and Realme(Oppo) did to their phone successor, Max Pro (M1) SD636, Max Pro (M2) SD660, Realme 2 SD450, Realme 2 Pro SD660.

But out of curiosity, what resolution is enough? 500 PPI? If you could buy 1500 PPI, would it be better? What about 5000 PPI?
There's a point at which it no longer matters, and at ~300 you're almost there.

If Xiaomi ever released this phone with SD710 it means the next generation Redmi Note will come with SD845, thats not make any sense because Redmi Note series was not high end class phone.

I Hope they can bring back the removable battery option. I would sacrifice waterproof with removable battery and headphone jack.

The leaks says that this phone have 2.3 ghz frequrncy
So it is more likely helio p35 and not snapdragon 710

I wonder how it compare to upcoming redmi note 7. I cant wait to see it. SD710 is just awesome.

For Mi series Xiaomi skip from Mi 6 to Mi 8 meaning there is no Mi 7. I expect a same for Redmi series too and highly doubt Xiaomi will equipped this so call Redmi 7 or 8 with premium chipset like SD710 because based on Redmi series history its always come with entry level and lower end chipset, the highest level chipset the series get is SD625, lower midrange chipset. Only Redmi Note series and discontinue Redmi Pro series get a better level chipset like SD650, SD636 and MediaTek Helio X25, intermediate midrange chipset. And also Xiaomi already equipped Mi 8 SE premium midrange phone with SD710. The Mi series phone always get better level chipset than the Redmi series.
