Trash it says auto connect to a wifi but its not connecting me wtf is that??? Ive even experience a deadboot which my got shutdown or reboot its not opening i dont recommend you guys buy this junk theres a lot of phones that you can buy

I just can't unlock the bootloader via Mi Unlocker, it shows battery status like its charging turned off and tries to reboot, than back into battery status... I can reboot manually and use the phone however... Such a chinese torture

Jay, 19 Mar 2022I rebooted my phone few days ago, and it took over a day to... moreYou have just encountered the deadboot issue, this issue only occurs to redmi 9t and poco m3. Its essentially, a bug in the motherboard that it stuck in an endless loop trying to power it back up after a reboot. The only solution to fix this is 1) Dont charge and you have to wait for the phone to die( even tho there is nothing on the screen it is actually active) and wait around a few days depending on what percentage were you on before you reboot it. For me its around 4-5 days at 90%. 2) is too remove the battery and install it again ( NOTE THAT BY DOING THIS WILL VOID YOUR WARRANTY AND HASNT BEEN TESTED BY ME) then after that to try and turn it on again. 3) To go to an authorized Xiaomi Service Centre, Because this is a device issue this will cover by your warranty so if this occurs to you while on warranty, I recommend to quickly send it to a Xiaomi Service Centre to change the motherboard ( Noted to backup all Important file messages on the phone because the device data will be erased. Thats all from my experience with the 9T, do let me know if there anything else i can help.

I rebooted my phone few days ago, and it took over a day to come back on. I tapped on the power off bar a few days after that, and my phone had refused to come on since that day. I've tried charging it, but it's not showing any sign of charging. I connected it to a power bank, and the power bank never got drained. What could be the problem? I need help.

My Redmi 9T has experienced deadboot for 7 times, with MIUI 12.5.8 running it, and it never opened for almost 1 month.

I have this phone,when I bought it it was Android 10 but this year it was updated to Android 11,the phone is perfect,personally I tested the battry power in the orange power saving setting.I left it in standby mode without using it and it lasts 25 days ,this is very good.The only drawback is that there is no possibility to transfer applications and games to external memory ,my phone has 128 GB of internal memory ,but with each update of applications and games the internal memory decreases which is not good.In everythin else,the phone is great.I have not tried the maximum energy savings that can lasts two months in standby mode.

I rebooted my xiaomi Redmi 9T after some apps were hanging and it never came on again .all it is is just a dead phone..even on charging nothing comes on, and mind you it is less than a year old. worst experience ever with a phone, don't think I will ever buy Xiaomi again

Does update really cause deadboot on redmi 9t? I updated my phone while charging it after few minutes when I go back to my phone is now deadboot. It is possible that redmi 9t will fix deadboot on next updates? Or is it just my phone?

Running 21.12.8 from xiaomi.eu .
Since I've been reading about hardbricks on miui 13 updates I'm holding off that for now. Anybody successfully installed miui 13 on the Redmi 9T?

Smoothly updated from 12.5.3 to 12.5.8, so far its still the same and has split screen I don't know what version that has no split screen but in 12.5.8 there's a splitscreen and they still haven't fix the poor wifi connection and probably they won't fix it in the future. Nevertheless, my phone is running smoothly and no problem at all. 🙂

just updated my redmi 9t from miui 12.0 to 12.5.8 and updated to android 11. I dont have any problem updating it or maybe I am just one of those lucky redmi 9t users that dont have problem updating. cheers!

My refunds? My warranty has expired, and I've never had any troubles or issues with my Redmi 9T, so I'm not sure myself.
But according to some of my fellow Redmi 9T users, it all depends on discretion of the Authorized Service Center. Some take a few week, some few days. If the SC deems you're worthy of full refund because the phone is unrepairable, you'll get your full refund, or luckily, a new replacement(provide that your device is still under warranty). There are many SC in my region, and each has their own terms and conditions regarding warranty claims.
