GUNNERS, 05 Feb 2024From a Huawei Mate 30Ppro (broken screen😔) i bought this ph... morecrDroid. Go to official site and you will find info! Ive used for about 3 years on Redmi note 8 pro with android 14 on least and crDroid 10.0 (but i modified it, very... veeery much and last time 02.02.2024 when i open the back cover of it for my new idea, i broke the mainboard cuz my focus gone on my naked wife :D nvrmnd...) So for 3 years, that phone cuz of the crDroid, was the most powerful phone without the ugly, nasty, biggest malware in the history, called Google! So.i waiting (to monday) for my secondhand Redmi note 10 pro and i will continue the crDroid relationship with me! You must to know, that the crDroid is AOSP and the dev. are just random guys without the $$, so sometime in some update, may have some little troubles, but the are very responsable and you will recieve weekly (or mountly i really dont remmember cuz i dont use that option) and everything will come on places. I say the last thing, cuz we must respect everyone from open source world and even when something is going bad and nasty, we must be grateful and patient.

    Ryz, 04 Jan 2024Resmi Note 10 Pro Will Upgrade Network Right? 4VoLte To 5G?no the phone RedmiNote10Pro cannot "upgrade" to 5G because the 5G family of protocols and modulation types etc. requires different/newer hardware. BUT depending on the part of the world you spend most of your time and what you do with your phone, i would not bother about 5G. In numerous parts of the world including e.g. Austria where i live, most providers have just about correctly started implementing 4G with VoLTE (and VoWiFI) as up to a while ago, phone calls were made across 3G and 4G/LTE was "only" used for data connectivity. So 4G/LTE will be around with us for at least the next 10 years or so. Transition to 5G will be seemlessly and i am convinces most providers on any continent will support LTE/4G for quite a while to come, even with careful use, your phone will probably be broken by the time 4G really becomes no longer available.
    Anyone who knows better, PLEASE FEEL FREE to correct me!

    Much more important than the 5G yes/no question is the OVERALL QUALITY of the radio transceivers in the device and to my understanding and testing they are really good. The phone is sensitive, quickly switches between network types and works like a charm.

        Anonymous, 04 Feb 2024Same with me .. the battery keeps on dropping just like that unlock ur bootloader, see youtub tutorial, then use computer and install fast boot rom using mi tool to downgrade rom to miui global 13.0.16, or any official rom u like, after downgrade.. go to "password and security" then click authorization and revocation, from there, revoke permission of Update, and MSA, thats it, every thing will be smooth and long battery life with best performance...

          Yeah ! Mate 30Pro is on another LeVeL Xiaomi without custom rom (not good) i'm waiting for 164h to unlock BL...

          Can someone suggest BEST CUSTOM ROM based on stability for this phone i thing about Xiaomi.eu rom or PiXel Exp. 🤔🤔

                        It is the best quality phone you can get at this price
                        It gives you feeling of flagship phone with premium design and OP Display
                        It's brightness is better than Iphone 12's and 13's
                        but feeling sad cause someone stole this phone from me

                          Will still get this phone again because of SD card slot and audio jack not going to update it this time around

                              I still own this phone and I've had this phone since November 1, 2021.
                              It takes stunning photos with so much detail, it's like having a portable DSLR. And let's talk about the display – a 6.67-inch Super AMOLED beauty. The colors pop and the blacks are deep.

                              Performance-wise, it's a champ. The Snapdragon 732G processor keeps things smooth, and the 5020mAh battery pretty much lasts an entire day. I have noticed a decreased battery life, but I think a full battery still can last a full day without a charge, I do remember 2 days without a charge. I use this phone very often for watching YouTube, movies, and reading. Plus, the design is sleek, and the phone feels well-built. It handles a lot of games including Genshin Impact well, but after a while, it does run a little hot in your hands, like a hand warmer.

                              Now, the only thing to consider is the MIUI software. It's not everyone's cup of tea, and you might find some pre-installed apps you don't need. But hey, that's a small price to pay for all the features you're getting at this price point. If you're looking for a budget-friendly phone that doesn't compromise on camera or performance, the Redmi Note 10 Pro is a solid choice

                              The CONS worth noting is sometimes the mic won't pick up my voice during some calls. Sometimes it would happen when I'm using the Discord app, it sometimes won't pick up my voice even when try unmuting my mic. It works fine when I'm recording a video though.

                                    24bit 192Khz audio via Bluetooth doesn't work on my Redmi note 10 pro, every time I toggle the option on developer mode it just crashes.

The GooglePlayServices as well as GooglePlay_SystemUpdates will still be maintained (by Google); a few Xiaomi-specific apps like the notepad will also be maintained. Vital things like phone-app and messages (forRCS etc.) will also be maintained. Even if Xiaomi really stops patching the phone in 2024 it can still be a good device for a while. I am definately not into ecologist, "green" and sustainability hype BUT I HATE it when manufacturers produce phones as if they were spring and automne fashion collections. Programmers and developers have no time to properly do things. Men, a phone can last longer than 2-3 years, a PC also lasts 10 years. It takes me a heck of a long time to really personalise a phone --- banking apps, Authenticators, getting to know some crasy details that any device has .... i really don't like switching phones every 2 years, just a heck of a lot of work and you end up with the same thing you had before. i wonder if i am the only one??? anyhow i assume that this device can work well for a few mor years and then i will consider a new one e.g. with 5G. but the overall specs and compared to the price ratio of this device are still great so i'll just see.
