Redmi for me was always the maximum amount of hardware for minimum buck , but with their recent iterations that equation has changed drastically.software was never really their forte. This one seems like a wannabe flagship midranger like nothing phone 2 territory , but unlike nothing this will not provide a desired software experience. The headphone jack removal have nothing to do with reducing space neither it was for water proofing. The 3.5mm jack port was removed to save money in production while making more per product and one of those products are wireless earphones.
I advice you to check the diameter of new major top of the line phones like iPhone, Samsung, GPixel and Xiaomi. If you find a real reason other then losing money for why they can't fit a 3.5mm jack port in there without IP rating.
Same thing applies to vapor chambers and similar cooling solutions.
Don't worry though I promise you that our reasons for removing the type-C port are justified and our engineers are working to solve all the downsides for such a thing one of them being delay and efficiency.... Make me wonder what that means

Any technical expert would tell without a shred of a doubt that the space gained from the removal is negligible, so there's very little to gain.
The usefulness of this feature is decided by the end-users, and headphones/earphones companies who are, and wouldn't guess it, still producing their wired products with a 3.5mm aux audio cable. And those aren't going down anytime soon in sales.
What you really still fail to realise is that the removal of this feature is only to promote and boost the sales of their wireless audio devices, nothing else. This is just like the removal of the charger from the box (which was started by Apple too), where the end-user is the only one who bears up all the additional costs of buying other products, on top of the already overpriced phone they just bought, and all this under the purpose of "saving the environment", exactly just like "saving up space".

And there are some dual drivers headphones that sounds way better than any wireless headphones.

Well, I like this one. I do like the design part with the slightly curved display and the leather like back version (although I'm pretty sure it will not come to Europe as these are often limited to some countries and that is a petty). I do get the criticism regarding the headphone jack and the missing SD slot although I don't care about the jack part as I don't use it (never used it as a matter of fact) but I do care about the SD part as I'm probably old school (and I am). I do prefer to put my stuff on an SD allowing to easily move it from device to device without having to rely on data transfer or cloud shit (not fond of that but using it when necessary). Lately I did adopt more often the data copying stuff, especially with devices that don't have an SD slot or when it's a hybrid one (I do use two sim cards so it's not a choice but a must do). All in all I eager to hold this one as soon as possible to get a real life feel of it. Oh and by the way @GSMArena, it's not an aluminium frame, it's a plastic on (early reviewers already mentioned it).
