And typing with one hand is already possible with a big screen anyway (Opening notifications with a gesture or a shortcut too). So yes, most people naturally don't feel the need to be able to reach the top end of the screen with one hand.

We live in a world where people love big screens and hate ones that can be used single-handedly. I just hope that, you didn't get s23 fe exynos, it's not worth the asking price at all. My mother had it and overheated like crap while just doing daily tasks. She wanted something similar sized, but now she has S23+ (Snapdragon) and it's actually insane. The battery backup, build quality, the display, chipsey performance... just almost everything about it is perfect. Almost perfect I say, because still too big for me. I would prefer personally to get S23 base, even if it means worse battery, just to give in to the compact market a bit. Otherwise, who knows, we might be losing the base size flagship somewhere in the future with how things are going today, haha... yeah.

I just wish more companies would still make smaller, more compact sized phones. I still think 6.2"- 6.4" is the absolute goldilocks sweet spot.
A 6.5" or bigger screen phone is just too big and too tall for me now.

I've been using the Redmi Note 13 Pro for about two months now, and overall, I'm quite satisfied with it. The phone performs smoothly without any lags. Initially, during the first week, I did notice the phone heating up easily. This might have been due to the initial system update to HyperOS. However, the heating issue seems to have resolved itself over time, and the phone stays cool even during extended gaming sessions.
The camera and video quality are a significant improvement over my previous phone. The photos are sharp and capture vivid colors.
In conclusion, the Redmi Note 13 Pro is a reliable phone with good performance, a great camera, and impressive battery life. It offers excellent value for the price too..

Check Redmi vs your current phone reviews on youtube or the one that has good cameras & compare it yourself and see if it suits you. Some people prefer photos with realistic colors and other prefer the eye candy processed colors. What I can tell you from what I remember for sure is 3 things: 1. Macro camera is an absolute piece of garbage. 2. Video stabilization has a lot of refocusing while moving. 3. Not good for low-light and night photos (there's a lot of annoying noise)
I unfortunately can't tell you anymore, because I recently changed to a Poco X6 Pro. It's an absolute crazy beast for the price with flagship speed in all apps I threw to it. Never hanging, always super fluid and quick - even on 1220p screen resolution. For me, it's a better choice because I don't take a lot of photos, but you can always install gcam for better results, which I've yet go to do that to check (later)
