Battery life is good on MIUI 14 though so don't know if I will install it yet anyway, will wait for reports of battery life from other people.

Adnansyed110, 28 Mar 2024I need mid range, confused in samsung A54 or xiaomi redme 1... morePlease, do yourself a favor and go with samsung (as long as it's from higher tier of A series at least - so from the A34 and up i would say and you choose at least 6gb ram, preferably 8), if you want to have a pleasurable user experience (which is what matter most, when getting a new device) and don't want to be disappointed software wise.
Xiaomi's updates suck and they are full of glitches every single fng time. After years of dealing with system in-app ads (like a video player even) and having to custom rom after short time of device support, which can compromise the security of your phone (by having a non-password custom recovery), I can proudly say that I'm done with xiaomi for good.
Yeah sure, call me a samsung fanboy, but I don't give a crap. Still, I'm just putting the truth out here.
When you buy samsung, it just works. Like it is supposed to. When you buy xiaomi, you will sht yourself every time you get home launcher in-app ads for "essential" apps (essential for stealing your data) like tiktok.
Bye xiaomi, never looking back to you ever again, even with the whole hyperos. If I wanted iOS, I would buy an iPhone, not this overpriced (and still spying on the end user - yes, even xiaomi flagships have ads, ridiculous) piece of chinese garbage. Thanks to usa for banning gimmicky china phones, xiaomi deserves it fully.

OK, I installed it, Android 13 was already smooth, this one seems even smoother. Battery also seems to be the same, no deterioration so far

Hey folks
Have a Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra, but need a phone for my job to, anyone... does this function with Android auto? Know some Xiaomi phones have problems to function with AA.
See somewhere the pro plus have problems with AA.

I don't get it why, they dropped the expandable storage and kept the 3.5mn headphone jack. To me, its a great phone, but without the expandable storage and knowing them, i\ would risk keeping my data on internal storage. Had a wonderful experience with POCO X3 Pro, where mobo literary fried itself.

1. There may not be a model I like at that specific time (I had that happen to me once).

Exynos 1480 has better benchmark score than than garbage Snapdragon 7s gen 2.
Disliking my comment would not change these fact.
