I have been using the Redmi Note 9 device for over a year now and the below is my findings
1. The device is still holding his own as the battery is a beast of it's kind.
2. The back camera is very good but the selfie camera is just okay
3. When the device space is filled up, the Redmi Note 9 lags and some apps forcefully close
In general the Redmi Note 9 is a very good midrange device and is still a good buy for interested persons.
There are regular updates and miui is very addictive, I'm sticking to Xiaomi.

I got my redmi note 9 last year November 2021, after a few months it is good and it performs well, the camera is okay and the battery life. On the 11th month, my redmi note 9 started to reboot randomly but it turns on again. When I open camera or when the speaker is on full volume it will , or when I am in call it will just suddenly reboot. Then it became worse it just reboot sand will not turn on again even if its not low battery. Today my redmi note 9 can't be used because it will just power off.

Purchased on March-2021
1-Battery Started Draining within 6 hrs Just Normal using Imo, Whatsapp, & Calls. No Games & Apps.
2-While Charging mobile, it will react weird, you can't use your mobile while you kept for charging.
3-Lots of time it will Hang while you're using Imo or watching video.
first 3 months it was fine with battery & Performance, Actual problem it started its own after 3 months.
Note: I am not a Heavy user of Mobile, Just use for calling purpose.

Beware! If you had replaced display with Duplicate one then the battery will soon die , touch sensitivity will be worst, OEM display is always better. Try to buy OEM battery or high quality aftermarket battery.

I've been using it for 5 months and still the perfomance is still good as brand new, They say its laggy into thembut im not encountering it.After the 12.5.2 it became much smoother

Using it for 10 months. After a month of use my phone has slowed down. I tried rooting it and it would only solve the problem temporarily. Apps i use take way too long to load pages. Changing app settings make phone even slower and i don't even have much apps... At least i know i'm not buying a phone from this brand ever again.

I used 1.5 years battery decrease to 5020 mah to 3700 mah after 297 charge cycles

I updated my redmi note 9 and it decreased the battery life and make my phone unable to connect to other phones. Now thanks to the new shitty update, I can't share files from my phone or receive files from other phones. What kind of company makes updates worse than the original version of the phone??? Y'all had better fix this problem

Not the best phone in the world. Constantly crashing or refusing to respond. The people at Xiaomi don't seem to carer when you send reports in. I won't buy another one of these. Back to Motorola for me.

I got an update yesterday, wow fingerprint feels responsive and the general experience of the phone feels faster and well uptimize nice update Xiaomi.

Installed MIUI 12.5.x on my global version today. Fingerprint unlock is substantially faster now and phone generally feels faster and more responsive. Nice!
