Redmi note 9 (3/64GB): I have this phone for over a year now and after the miui 12 update the phone became sloppy and even playing the most basic video games the phone would drop it's FPS and freeze and sometimes freezes for a long time, and it forces me to restart my phone and after restarting, the phone would just simply lag out from system launcher crashing, to System UI itself crashing and I can't even type on it anymore sometimes everything freezes in messenger, and after 5-10 seconds it would type in what I've been pressing 5-10 seconds ago which is really annoying. Even with those issues however there are some pros on it like the camera is good and I managed to get some decent shots with it and with the video itself, not to mention the battery life is still good altho gaming which I would casually do is bad for this phone.

I've been using this for 5 months till now. It hang and freezes most of the time so i need to restart my phone frequently. The camera is kinda overrated and srsly the ram management is not very efficient. If you want to buy a phone for work then this one may be suitable but for gaming well this is a no no. Search for other phone or not the 3gb ram variant.

Ironcraft, 22 Sep 2021Hello. Is this phone still good in 2021? Or should i buy Re... moreBuy note 10 since it has stereo speaker and amoled also better chipset(avoid it if you often use nfc)
Buy 9t if you want poco m3 which not available in many market, more powerful chipset, stereo speaker and better price considering it already launch in Jan,(avoid if you hate notch)
For note 9 it have all the opposite that I mention
Panel type is you personal choice since many people suffer amoled ,lcd also but it is up to your eye durability...(sorry if I am bad in grammar)

Buggiest software i've ever seen on a phone
auto brightness never turns off
Notification bar disappears on it's own and....
either don't buy it at all or don't buy the 3/64 version
mine freezes from time to time out of no where
before this phone i had a samsung A20s and boy let me tell its software was way more published than this poc

Currently using a Global Variant of the Note 9, 4+128.
Overall i didn't have much issue ever since i got the Android 11 update, Albeit, Being MIUI, there's still bugs in the software. It's unfortunate to see alot of people have bad experiences with this phone.
My personal experience has been decent for the year that I've been using this phone, but small issues did arise like unexpected screen burn in and such. Non the less, the phone is still performing as good, if not better since the first day i got it. If anyone were to buy this phone this year already upcoming ones, its certainly an option but not recommended due to the aging hardware and soon to lack updates. The Note 10 is a solid option to consider than this phone and so does other ones like the Galaxy A22.
This phone is serving me well and might do so for the next year or two.

Babayeiga, 23 Aug 2021Wah, all of you who gave their negative comments/feedbacks ... moreWe all are not a hater or anything. But we all DESERVED to complaint from what we bought, and we are using our selved money, NOT YOUR MONEY.
I bought Redmi Note 9 to use it, not to lick the Redmi/Xiaomi b*tt. And why did I bought this phone? It is because I already use Redmi Note 5AI nearly 3 years without issue and so I do bieve on Xiaomi/Redmi for this phone, and Im very wrong and regret.
Redmi is not like old day. Nowaday too many issue, and they did not bother to fix it because they have too many phone to release and to pay attention to. Thats why their nowaday phoen are crap, including this phone and Redmi Note 10.

best phone on the market for its price point, battery lasts 2 days without charge, screen is bright enough, CPU is responsive and fast. only complaint is that it has 4 poor quality cameras rather than one good one?? dont understand the logic. in daylight situations you can get sharp enough photos
