Bought the samsung s7 edge as soon it came out,spent 550 euro.
After 2 months it had a processor issue, and they refused warranty repair.
I dont play games, dont use multiple apps same time, only i care the most is rhe screen quality, since i watch a lot of video while working.
Im not against flagship premium devices, just dont see the point of spending so much money, if i dont use all of its capabilities, people have different needs.

Best on screen real time system info CPU, GPU, RAM etc paid app...
Recommendations. I have CPUZ and Accubatt Pro.
CPUZ doesn't display on screen, Accubatt gives false results, never 100, always sticker at 96%. Despite stock battery is fully charged.

Now if you want to have the latest mediocre phone all the time then that's different.

Whenever buying a new phone, must take in notice that after some 2 years its already "old" or just starting to get slow.
Why waste so much money to buy a costly one, if after a year its value has dropped significatly?

That is amazing, almost all of ... morethough it's slightly OT, but YES i have a WORKING LG G4 and in use since early 2016 and this was my 3rd attempt for something newer. (tried the Samsung XCoverPro, and the LG V20 which had severe radio-reception-send quality problems, and now the described RedmiNote9Pro)...
My LG G4 is the H818P variant which is the global/international DualSIM version.
And no it never bootlooped on me until now, it only rebooted once or twice when doing long update sessions and it aparantly got too hot. i have several spare batteries and usually change a battery every year, and yes that's one of the reasons i still love it.
But just as mentioned above, though it is so old and i wear it out a lot and really fear it will dye on me one day (but there probably is no place on the internet where one can buy a left over new lg g4 h818p) ..... i am so amazed of the quality (and price) of 5y ago.
Yes i know some versions of it had bootlooping but mine is ok. Practically ALL IMPLEMENTATIONS of all sensors, protocols (yes including exchange), features work fine and are more or less bug-free, besides things like MHL (connecting to a TV via HDMI) works like a charm and i had used that in every hotel room ... before corona :-)
i really am disapointed that smartphone manufacturers ... including LG ... seem to make worse quality nowadays for higher prices -- and i wonder why customers accept this!
Bad enough that removable batteries are stripped and they make the damm hybrid slot which is so useless... when i need 2 SIMs, i most likely also need the SD card!
and bad enough that they strip 3,5mm jacks on many phones, plus the IR blaster, also the overal - especially - software quality seems to get worse. i was always LOOKING FORWARD to a newer version of Android as the G4 runs Marshmallow.
But i run into so many glitches ... it really is not fun.....
Yes sorry to say for the moment i steck to 'me old beloved LG G4 H818p and even hope i can buy a replacement somewhere.
OK android patch level is 10/2016, but
GOOGLE PLAY SERVICES are still updated --- actually i often update them myself by hand from APK MIRROR website. Always use the nodpi variant with ARM 8a/amabi7 version (the one with xxxxx0400xxx numbers at the end). And google seems to thankfully still update the play services for Android 6.0x and even lower versions so i can stick with it for now.
But my real whish for 2021 ... no matter which manufacturer - where is a good quality phone that really can succeed the G4? please make such devices!
