Leo, 25 Apr 2022Is anyone getting further MIUI update after the V12.5.4?I got mine yesterday. 12.5.5.0 stable and I've updated and posted my review after the update there.

    There was a new update yesterday (12.5.5.0 Stable Enhanced) which i updated but unfortunately i noticed i can no longer change fonts or search for fonts even after changing my region to India and Indonesia. All saved fonts disappeared from my phone even the one i was using before the update (though it is still active).
    Also, the notification shade/control center is no longer blurry like before. It has a white background.

    Please i will like to know if anyone who has updated experienced such or its just me?

        Have been using this phone for more than a year. By far the best phone I ever had but with following Cons
        1.Moving pictures becomes Blur.
        2.Huge Display
        3.Weight
        4.After the latest updates raerly home button disappears & stuck for few seconds
        Other than that its a very responsive & dependable phone. If you looking for good performance this is it but if you want a very good camera I think this phone isn't for you.

          Great phone have it for 18 months now just wish screen is a little smaller so it would be easyer to hold and use. I run miui 12.5.4 and no bugs at all for me. I only have on small problem with phone: somethimes it restarts during a phone call (rarely) and thats all.

                  Redmi note 9s is still are good in performance not a dull moment ive been using it almost 2yrs now still prestine conditions

                    For people saying update 12.5.4 lags. goto your battery menu and pull the slider towards performance . you're welcome. Been using for 1.5 years and the mobile still rocks.

                      So at&t switched over to 4g/5g... first they told me i had to get a new sim card.. I could get text messages but i couldn't make phone calls. Now today there telling me the phone won't work on there network, yet it's worked great for over a year. Anyone else have at&t and using this phone?

                        The 12.5.4 update LAGS a lot compared to 12.0.6 when playing Genshin Impact. While the update reduces the performance of the phone, I also noticed that the temperature is lower compared to the previous update.

                        Ultimately, I decided to rollback to 12.0.6 since the performance of the game that I was playing was borderline unplayable for me.

                          since the last update of my 9s 12.5.4 the phone drains the battery easily, I add that it bugs a lot and blocks and restarts. is it possible to revert to 11.0.4?

                            I upgraded to 12.5 and afterward I got problem with ringtone. While having incoming call, my phone just don't ring . I changed my ringtone and theme many times. But it won't ring. Does anybody have the solution or same problem????

                              When 12.5.4 is many problem. I was downgrade to 12.0.6 using rename method. Better go tor 12.0.6..

                                    After updating to 12.5.4 I began experiencing lots of problems, bugs, rapid battery drain etc. Apparently Xiaomi itself recommends doing factory reset after "big" updates, so I did that and everything has been solved. All seems fine just as before, notably the long-lasting battery is again functional. So if you want to update, maybe be prepared to factory reset in case you encounter bugs. At least it's software, not hardware issue.

                                        My redmi note 9 s is hanging too much and when rebooting, it displays Samsung. Kindly help how I can return it.
