Switch to Cyanogenmod rom. Puts you on Gingerbread Android. I used the total phone transfer method on two phones which made them Gen2. It makes a good phone into a serious bit of kit.

I am facing battery life problem I have to charge it daily. Battery become empty real soon. I make brightness low and using save battery option off the phone though it has poor battery life. How to improve it?? Can anyone tell me how to update my OS to 2.2 via root?

Do not like ZTE. They are competing with low labor cost. I am Chinese. But I have to say I don't like ZTE.

well-being I have a few days ZTE blade and I have tried in the networks of T-Mobile and O2 CZ speed test. For upload, I never got over 380kbit. where is the support for 5.7 Mbps HSUPA?? In the case of my data plan I have a limit of 2 Mbps. Similarly, the problems the user's voice from England, Poland, Germany, Slovakia. Had any other hardware revisions without support HSUPA? who knows ...

u can install 2.3.4 gingerbread, or a good one is blue ginger which is on Modaco website.
have this zte since 3 months now, and it works flawless.

Definitely a good phone. I have the android updated to 2.2. No problems with the wifi, camera good for 3.2 mpix, not slow. Baterry life was ~1,5. I talk much, use wifi, games. After that I downloaded a program from the market - android booster. Now after 2 days of the same use - much talking, 30 min/day wifi at least, I still have ~30% power remaining. The program makes no problems with wifi or 3G or else. Now the phone seems like the best deal for those money.

I couldn't connect to my router or any hot spots etc, after a while it continued to disconnect and most of the wireless networks disappeared. I researched this problem and many owners of the ZTE Blade/San Francisco have had major problems with the wifi. I rang up orange customer help line and they suggested a factory reset but I didn't want to risk it in case it actually succeeded. So I asked if they could replace it and they said yes and the replacement San Francisco arrived the next day free of charge.

I have an issue, i use to connect in wireless at home but now i can't connect at home but everywhere else I can connect easily, i bought the phone lately and I'm not that good at using it, can anyone tell me how am i going to fix this issue.
