Samsung explains why Galaxy S and Tab 7.0 won't get Android ICS

Just give users the choice Samsung and see what happens, if you want touchwiz stay on gingerbread if you don't give us a vanilla ICS rom like the Nexus S runs, it can't be that hard to modify it, the hardware is near identical!
Personally I don't mind touchwiz but wouldn't mind if it was missing.

i just brought my self samsung galaxy s plus a month ago which has similar config to samsung galaxy s in terms of ram and rom .so i am stuck with gingerbread forever and i paid 22k grand for it !!! my worst decison ever . i m trying to sell my cell and will go for sony which will get ICS . samsung sucks big time . and they r still selling both samdung galaxy s plus and sl in indis . and people like me are buying them to be cheated

Now do all Fandroids realise why we love Apple? Because it continues to support us by giving us 3GS users, iOS 5. Was just reading the other day that Apple recalled some of original iPods coz of some issues. Other companies don't give 2 hoots to their customers once they buy their products.
Unlike Apple who always supports us. Thats what makes it a great company and brand. No wonder I am loyal to it. Coz they support me 2 years after I bought their product. RIP SJ.

This the different between IOS and android iPhone 3gs still getting update till date and it's lower spesdication than even Nokia n8 and Samsung wave 1!

I had the cyanogen mod 9 ics beta running on my i9000 and worked beautifully for a beta stage. so looking very promising. been running cyanogen for quite a while and never looked back. don't have time for samsungs touchwiz monopoly. plain android much better.

Samsung clearly lacks integrity. This statement is blatantly lying about hardware sufficiency.
This already changed my mind from Galaxy 7.7 to Asus Tramsformer Prime.
Any my next phone will not be Samsung.

This is a blatant lie by Samsung. Hardware is more than capable of running ICS or ans of their lousy widgets.
They put so many garbage out there (countless variety of the same device) and now they do not want to know about it and they want to use it as an excuse.
No more Samsung. It is time Sony, HTC and Motorola to step forward. One thing worse than having no customers is to have lots of unsatisfied customers, especially geeks.

Mind you geeks know what they are talking about and come across more trustworthy than salespeople in the shops or vendors like Samsung !!! No more Samsung for me either.

Onething for sure, they make really good hardware based devices, but developers are not that much efficient.
