Apple make money by fooling people with marketing tricks and charge twice for something which looks more like a toy for teenagers. The most effective of those tricks is basically "you're cool and different if you have an Apple product", and so far it has worked beautifully. So, never say they have 'strong' products. Foe them it's all about being dishonest-enough to tell lies and act as it's the only truth in the world in order to stay in the race. And if you have been wondering, that's why many people hate them and those fools who buy their products.

Imagine what it would do if it is developed on today's quadcore hardware.. I am not taking up Android not until it can multitask as efficient as Meego..

                                      It is really simple. Its free and got good software ecosystem. Some people said its rising to fast and not stable. But that is not true. Not a single os can speak to the consumer as good as android. That is why most of the mobile manufacturer depends on it. Even chaineese manufacturers making android set in very cheap price and selling them to not only in asia. But in europe and america too. Even in usa which is apples home ground. Android has 51 percent share. The main problem with ios and w8 is. Its restricted. And 22th century's people do not like it. That 80% is the prove of that feelings. Ios cant change it causeodf their company policy. And they are unique cause of that. What they need now is innovation. W8 is stable but ita somehow late for them. But still they have great potential. Rest of the os are baby now. Android is miles ahead of them.

                                        @Dean786

                                        You are 100 % right. Symbian was killed too brutally, and people forgot or maybe many of them don't want to remember anymore how Nokia was and how good and simple was Symbian. I am still a Symbian user on my Nokia 701 and 808 because I think these last improvements of Symbian Belle were there to make the best out of this OS, and further development could have kept this OS just fine. I don't believe the bull$hit the Nokia said about Symbian, that with this OS developing new phones was more expensive and dificult. They had the Symbian team which was dealing with software for years !!! Now it is the same thing. MS deals with software and Nokia does the hardware. Strange that for so many years Symbian was good and after Elop came, they dumped Symbian. STUPID MOVE NOKIA !!! And maybe now they realise that maybe a backup plan with a well know OS would have been good, or at least keep both OSes alive, just like Samsung does with Android and WP. And the fact that Apple came out in 2007 with the iphone and called it a smartphone it doesn't mean they invented it. Let's not forget that Symbian was and still is an opperating system mounted on many businesslike Nokias, so those were the first smartphones, capable of doing tasks, and running programs/apps.
                                        Many people moved to Android because somehow is similar to Symbian and it has this open feature, anyone can do whatever he wants. And sadly Android will continue to dominate, despite fragmentation or lag or whatever. It is what people want: freedom and customization.IOS will always be number 2, if people won't get sick of it, as Apple is becoming boring and the hype about Iphone is starting to decline slowly.
                                        And about WP, no matter how hard they will try, there is a huge gap between the other competitors. Nokia will continue to struggle, they will try to deliver good hardware but the OS is the one that will kill it. I hope this will not happen, and maybe MS will somehow realise that some changes are needed and deal with them. Anyway, my sad conclusion is that Nokia will never be what it once was, neither it goes on with MS nor it will addopt Android or bring back Symbian.
