samsung rules, 07 Nov 2013True! The fingerprint scanner was first introduced by motor... moreNo there not, stop talking rubbish. Apple took a failed tech and made it work like they always do. They are not suing anyone over finger print tech.

Guys...stick to the thread! Leave apple alone for a while!
Never had a Samsung and don't plan to own one but I like this news. It is good to here that someone is still experimenting and innovating.
Seems like the only ones innovating in terms of camera are Sony, Nokia, HTC and now Samsung joins the party!
Competition is always good and although I never liked Samsung, if they keep it like this maybe I will get a SgSV or VI one day.

Apple copied the side to unlock feature from others, now they claim that others are copying from them.
What do you expect more from a pathetic company like Apple ?

The picture is simple is all about Apple vs the others developers, others mean Intel, ARM, Samsung, LG, Nokia, HTC, Microsoft, Google, etc.
Apple copied the mobile phone and smartphone idea from others, now they claim others are copying from them.
Apple copied the 64 bit CPU idea from others, now they claim others are copying from them.

Low light performance and dynamic range are much more important. Megapixel race leads to absurd resolutions and noisy pictures. If resolution can be increased without sacrificing quality then I'm ok with it. Otherwise I'll take very high quality 8 MP any day. I still shoot with 5 MP camera and friends admire my pictures :-)

The camera is really pointless without a decent lens.
I can't understand why they keep on increasing the size and features, it's nothing but a very basic image capturing device, if no lens is present.
