Android 4.3 reaches UK Samsung Galaxy S III

There is bug in 4.3 for those users they have rooted there phone. For non rooted phone it's working fine.
If your mobile is rooted one then please use rooted version of 4.3 don't install OTA one.

... moreI have the same problems that "bizu" reported.
1. Increased lag on unlock screen. I found that it was a problem with face recognition (I have dissable it. Now, unlock is faster but not fast enough).
2. No screen when you receive a call. I have missed a lot of calls.
3. Download manager keeps telling me that finished downloads which were finished long time ago (I had to clear the data manually from inside the app).
Samsung should post an update for these problems.

It is not stable and full of bugs... some basic apps don't work, WiFi is erratic, it lags, freezes, shuts down and drains battery. Forums everywhere are saying the same.
You want to wait until an update is released that's stable and fixes all this.

In short I was one of Sony Ericsson's fan till SE Xperia X8. Currently I'm using both Samsung GS3 and Note 2. Having to know many bugs & troubles on Sammy's update, I'm considering to go back to Sony.
It's hard to believe Samsung only takes care for the new buyer and forget the older one. They ignore that the S3 owners more than 60 million people all over the world, and Samsung has failed to keep them stay comfortably.
All I need is Android OS smartphone. iOS, WP and BB are troublemakers, and I'll never plan to get one of them. Perhaps Xperia Z Ultra is my next target. Sony, I'm coming back to you...

Guys dont waste your time waiting for the update 4.3 .Its worse .If you really want 4.3 go for the custom mods..

UI improvements are good but the important things like phone calls, alarms, battery, music play are very very buggy. There is a lag on home screen unlock, battery is dying 30% faster, no incoming call screen when receiving calls have to manually hit home or power button to switch on screen and receive calls. Man i thought this is bug free build from samsung but i cant even go back to previous build. Samsung pls fix these things.

The note 3 already runs on android 4.3 out of the box.. the s3 skips the 4.2.2 update to get 4.3 directly.
