Stay away from NOKIA. NOKIA is a pawn of Microsoft. Microsoft has been proven to play very dirty pool. Microsoft is the same company that tried before to JAM the Linux ( Android's base operating system ) with SCO. SCO was backed as well by Microsoft. Court records show direct that Microsoft tried to influence the outcome. Nokia was given Hundreds if millions to produce a Google killer. Nokia missed out on being an Android Major Player. If you look at history - WM Device meant hTC/ i-mate.
I don't think everything needs to be documented in black and white...

Checkout how many WP phones were manufactured by hTC in the last two years compared to Android phones....

I really like Nokia and Jolla but after all said and done and the fact that the Judge doesn't care that the others are also infringing but not taking that into account i think HTC need the support now more than ever. Two wrongs dont make a right and i dont believe in kicking someone when they are down. Love my HTC and Nokia but our company indicators will go to the under dog here.

Why are everyonr just bashing Nokia for this? If Nokia didn't come up with the specific tecnology this patent is about about every smartphone using 3g or so would have way worse signals. This patent is about real innovation and years of work. Even Apple and Samsung are paying Money to use this tecnology in their phones. Even if the tecnology is in Qualcomms chip the fact remainst that the tecnology is found inside HTC phones and HTC IS NOT paying for the rights to use it in their phones. Where as every other manufacturer( with the Qualcomm chips in their phones). Come on this is actually tecnology that modern smartphones can't be used well, not some minor think like a bounce bac(2hich was in Symbian way Back 2008 anyway) So don't compare Nokia to Apple, because this Nokia case is about actual tecnological innovation being used without permission.

What I'm saying is that Nokia's mobile division is essentially Microsoft at this point. And that it's the stupidest move EVER for Microsoft to allow them to sue one of their own Windows Phone partners in HTC. It does NOTHING but hurt the platform. Which is I suppose an example of why Microsoft is still in the single digit % here in the US. Foolish move for a couple of bucks. Way to hurt your own self interests Microkia. Brilliant.
