There is going to come a point where innovation comes to a complete halt due to all these bullshit patent lawsuits. Companies will have so many limitations placed on them by the patents of others that eventually new products will have no amazing new features and be just like the previous models with a face lift. It's kinda getting ridiculous. Apple, then Samsung, and now Nokia... pathetic. Could it be true that Nokia only picks on HTC cause it's pretty much a sure win due to the financial hardship the Taiwanese company is currently in? Nokia wouldn't dare go head-to-head with Apple or Samsung, even though those two big hitters are infringing on their patents too. Between all these consumer electronics companies, if one were to actually look closely, there would be a million patents that being infringed upon by all companies, it's only when a company realises "Oh crap, their product is actually doing well, better put a stop to that. Let's see, which patent are they infringing upon which I can use to hinder their success?". If all of these tech giants were to put forward lawsuits against all other companies which impose on the patents, a lot of the smaller firms would not be around anymore, and all that would be left would have control of the entire market, leaving no room for new companies to start an evolve.
It all sounds like a petty high school feud between pithily little teenagers.

"Apple, BlackBerry, Google, LG, Samsung and Sony, which all infringe on said patent", does Nokia not dare to take a fight against Apple and ban all iPhones? Today "patents" do more harm than good!

If Samsung, HTC and others own the patents that Nokia have they'd do the same as Nokia. They'd sue anyone who infringes on them.

Apple and Microsoft/Nokia hold the most patents. Since they have the least shares are systematically going after all other Android manufacturers with patent trolling.
Fact of the mater Android manufactures are sticking together. Samsung has the most market share of anyone but are constantly trolled by Microsoft/Nokia and Apple. HTC isn't even remotely a minor treat against Samsung.

And bought it almost for free Htc Android sells alot more than the wp ones.
Nobody has maked Money with wp8.
Microsoft thinkes there have the rights to all zeros and ones.
They have killed alot of Companys to make almost monopoly.
And now they want to kill their harware partner HTC
And forced them to wp and internet Explorer :(

Nokia has innovated a lots of tech and it has every right to protect them. If any tech is essential then only it can be shared with joint patent or free. But if it's proprietary, then they have the right to sue.
