How did Apple manage to patent a broken auto-complete? Plus, auto-complete is just an extension of spell checker. Silly Apple the patent troll.

Frankly, Samsung started out by copying Nokia OS,and now it's Apple's patents or not.
Consumers don't really care, do they ?
What bugs me is that it's been obvious we havne't seen a truly original mobile design since Apple's first iPhone release, all touchscreen phones now have a home button for instance...as for Android phones, well none have something original apart from hardware specs and those all match up at the top, so the only real choice for us is what brand is attached to the said phone as well as plastic or metal and/or screen sizes.
the S-Pen or Nokia Pure-view cameras are the only worthy additions to be mentioned really, with possibly IR blasters ( that's neat )
Most phones have become boring variations of the same theme, particularly in the case of Samsung.
Can't wait to see their Tiezen OS tho.

Samsung and all other android manufacturers should sue apple for the notification bar and toggles of which were taken from android, nokia should sue it for ripping off asha's flat icons and MS should sue it for ripping off windows phone UI aesthetics, HP should sue it for ripping off WebOS's multi touch algorithm, all together should sue it for ripping off copy and paste, folders.. the list is endless. Apple is ridiculous

I think samsung should leave US market as Sony has. Let american only enjoy crippled apple and develop their economy on that. They truly deserve it.

We know there are few "hot" countries where if you are a foreigner and they are the one who ran you over with their car and file charges on you for being in their way because they are sure to win in court. Might as well kill you instead of letting you live, LOL.
People make a country look good or bad not the countries itself. =)

samsung patent is invalidate because "was only
acquired by Samsung to use
against Apple in court." But apple use most of their patents for trolling and they never use it themselves. why isnt their patent invalidate. once used to be a great country but now becoming a spy and a troll country. and i thought judge is made to give justice. i was wrong.

And the evidence Samsung tried to bring in with previous designs was tossed out. Or the fact that LG had the design before Iphone....Or that they actually looked different anyway.

This was said in the article: Judge Koh has also tossed Samsung's patent related to "multimedia synchronization method and device". Koh claims that the latter patent - purchased in September 2011 some 5 months after the start of patent disputes between the two companies - was only acquired by Samsung to use against Apple in court.
So a patent owner (doesn't matter if it bought or whatever) isn't allowed to sue someone who use their patents without being allowed to use it?
And how many patents have Apple bought that they use against Samsung?
