Microsoft is doing a good job for PC all these years. Don't think they are all out to suck $$ as much as that shameless Apple. MS phone will slowly become popular.

Bcus Andriod phone is cheaper. Andriod offers a variety range of products to customers from rich to medium to low income people. Thats the only reason Android can sell the most.

Different target customer from APPLE. GOod job Android.

And soon iOS will be so small worldwide that it will be as little relevant as WP8.x and Blackberry is now.

I think Apple eaters are disappointed with this news post. Dont worry guys we Android users respect all other platform as well. Personally I had Iphone 4s and I shifted to SG S4 for more choice and flexibility. Thats not 4S is cheap and ios is batter but flexibility matters. No doubt iphone is good but from users perspective Android is great. Its like u have a pc on the go with HD screen. It gives u full flexibility from entertainment to office work n more importantly u dont need to be jail broken or heart broken. And talking about device longevity I guess no one going to use a cell phone for 2 or more years now a days. I mean everyday technology improving on its way and we would like to test the changes. So dont saute yourself if u brought iphone n trying to hate android users. Batter luck next time..

See, Android needs a way to work on more architectures (ARM, x86, MIPS) because there are so many different phones being produced out there. We can CHOOSE any of these phones. So because of that it needs a Virtual Mashine. Of course, it demands more resources, just like it would on a PC. Apps would run in this sandbox regardless of the CPU architecture. That way developers don't need to make more versions of their apps for the different architectures. Simple. Apple has just one device line, so they don't need a VM. That's why apps need better hardware to run smoothly on Android. Combined with other benefits, like it being free, along with the power of choice, Android has risen to King of the mobile OSs (Apple "fans", please ignore this post - it's a bit long for you to read. Also you don't care how things work, just the end result, so please, no need to read this if you don't want to.)
