Its funny how those of you who have never held an S5, let alone used it -comment on how the many features it provides are gimmicky and utterly pointless. Well, I've just purchased the S5 electric blue color for $900 and let me assure you that the S5 is anything but gimmicky. I absolutely love it. Better than the iPhone 5S? Yes, by miles. You see, I've replaced my 5S for the S5. Cheers!

Touchwiz is a lot lighter and completely lag free (it's now extremely smooth, like the Nexus 5).
The phone feels extremely fast at everything you throw at it.
Also, if you've seen the various drop tests / water tests (it was still intact after being in a washing machine running and throwing it around for 50 minutes with water), you'd know it's actually a lot more resistant than most competitor's flagships.
Some people tend to confuse build quality and build materials.
Plastic is not as premium looking than metal, though with the S5, it actually doesn't feel like plastic at all. Several people asked me if it was leather.
It's very nice to the touch.
The actual build quality of the phone is very good.

I love all these people claiming "people in my country" this and that. Can you genuinely speak on behalf of an ENTIRE country?
And just because you have not seen ques coming out of 1 or 2 stores for the S5 where you live doesnt mean that in the next town/city over they are not selling out of them.

We had the worst samsung launch ever. No one is rushing in for S5 nor queuing up. We recieved 70+ Samsung S5 and we manage to only sell less then 10. So Samsung stop lying to us.

samsung!! im not using this. your phones perform normal for just few months and then drops in performance. do you use SNAIL OS?? cos with all android phones ive used samsung phones turn out to be the slowest with time.

This is a fake publicity no one is using s5 in my country people are sick and tired with samsung. I don't buy their story perhaps they paid some reviewers to publish a bogus story. HTC M8 is the best thus far

The only phone/phablet that is worth getting from Samsung is Note 3 and nothing else. I would rather buy aging Xperia Z1 or LG G2 than buying Galaxy S5.

I'll be going for the LG G3 when I upgrade in July anyway.
According to LG, the G3 will have a 16MP, 3MP front camera, it will also carry an Octacore Snapdragon 801, Of course Kit Kat and 4G, 5.5 inch Display, 3GB Ram and 4K.
So this monster will be on the top of the shelves, no doubt. Best for me is that the battery is 4000 and memory slot available, I'm sure this model will be the hero for LG and who knows with proper marketing it will beat the Galaxy S5
