Fail review , a review site and incapable in using proper "Quadrant Advanced" only a noob would use basic edition and look at combined score witch tells us nothing usefull.

They havent even put it against the CBD which (if you've held a C6-01 and Galaxy S side by side) is just plain better. Even GSMarena claim it has the best colours, and that hasnt changed even in the midst of the AMOLED Plus display

Is this a match up of the two phones or a preview/semi-review and advertisement of the Samsung phone? Cause all I read is that when the Samsung phone gets behind the LG one is that its because its "pre-release/production."

LG is just a good phone? For me is the first with dual core, and LG didn't rush to revise the possessor power to 1.2Mhz cause afraid HTC Evo 3D!
Really is HTC in rush due to free glass 3D screen?

I own an Optimus 2X. My first utint was a DOA beacause of bad call quality and bad battery life. My second untit has another issues. Network disappears and I have to reboot the phone. So basically dont buy this DEMO phone if You want a stable smartphone. Home screen lags more than my HTC Hero.

It's not head to head comparrison, it's like pre preview for sgs2, a little bit unfair for lg2x as they really good phone indeed

The galaxy s II hasn't been released yet but it's expected to be about a 100 euro more expensive than the O2X. And the first thing I did with mine was rooting it ^^

I've really enjoyed it.The one thing that stood out was the brightness level it was minimum at the white areas so i think samoled+ will bring nice battery backup.

AnonD-5197, 09 Apr 2011Those of you complaining how it not objective... the SGSII ... moreThe screen on the sgs2 truly is crispier, but I think the colors are oversaturated plus the table shows higher candela values for the lg which should make it's display easier to read from in sunlight. Web browsing and video recording is way better on the sgs2, but I think the performance in those categories is strongly dependant on the android version. allegedly 2.3 will have/has better support for tegra. As for the 4.27" i don't like where this the-bigger-the-better-screens thing is going (mobiles need to fit into pockets). Concerning the price I do think the sgs2 will be much more expensive than the optimus 2x is. In germany for example the prices for the optimus 2x are comparable to those of the sgs1. All that and the fact that it's not out yet is why I don't really agree with the sgs2 being the better handset.

two great phone, really, i hve the optimus 2x it's very powerful in games and it's only on 2.2, in 2.3 the web browser will be better with GPU assist.

Samsung GSII is much better almost on all aspects. We have to remember about the limit cap that Samsung put on their phones. I currently have GSI and with the lag fix it has results comparable to those presented by GSII without it, so imagine what this phone is really capable of, especially that here it is the model with 1Ghz.
Can't wait for the release :)
