My brother has n8. The amoled is like passing your fingers through a flattened stone. Dhd is smooth and touch sensitive. My friend has dhd. There is only a slight difference between the displays. Better choose dhd. Iphone simply wants to earn money.

      Hi

I'm thinking of buying the Desire HD however I would like to use my Telstra NextG sim card in it. Now I know the Desire HD does not have the HSPA 3G 850mhz Telstra NextG frequency so I was wondering will I still be able to pick up the other 3G 2100/900 frequency's and if so what is the real difference between Telstra NextG 850mhz frequency and the other 3G frequencies?

I'm in Australia by the way. I really like the Desire HD and I'm hoping I can use my Telstra NextG sim in it.

      Thanks

      Craig

Create a folder and name it Notifications then put your mp3 music in this folder. Reboot your mobile then click on ringtones it will then appear the mp3 you just uploaded to your phone.

        Goodluck!

For all those who hate Desire HD, they cant match it's technology . ( it is big for them )

Saqib, 30 Jan 2011Those who have got guts to read this truth, for those only:... moreI have got 300 & 400+ mb free ram memory available on my phone always.and htc desire hd has got higher ram that's why it rarely lags..samsung galaxy s having 512mb of ram..and available memory to run apps is only 304 mb..and it lags like hell..and you have to do lots of tinkering with your phone to run it properly.

Those who have got guts to read this truth, for those only:

                                  " I HATE ANDROID PHONES "

Probably you will be thinking, I have gone ad or what right ?

I will prove that now :

                                  1) Very worst Task manager, even the task manager you get from that Android can't control the tasks.
eg. Say suppose you open a browser and at certain point you want to close the browser,,one way is to click the home menu else go back and back and back,,that will not end if you have went through lot of pages. and the side effects every one can guess,,battery wastage,,data leakage,,RAM wastage.

HTC Desire HD has got 768 MB RAM, I accept this, but any guesses what will be the free RAM memory available to you ????
its only around 150 - 250 MB,,just imagine, the huge amount of RAM is wasted, just because of software,,hardware is superb.

Hope my first point every one got it. and will agree.

                                  2) I appreciate Android apps, but just think once, dont you think those apps looks so cheap ( cheap here i mean 3rd class ) at times.
eg. for the same kind of task there will 'n' no. of developers and many software,,and you will become old in finding the perfect app for you which suits your need. and here too , if you install many apps,,that means many more apps will be running in back ground,,so point 1 continued from here.

Hope I proved this point too.

Now you all will ask me one question :
" what's the big deal in it, I will install one task killer or task manager or system info provider or etc etc,,so many apps. and will clean "

My answer to this is " Boss how many times will you do it in a day,,if you keep on doing it,,then you will use that android just for closing apps, rather than using it.

Note: This is my opinion for Android phones,,some may got my point and some may oppose me, but i dont care. As I already mentioned this review is only for those who can here the truth.

and by the way I was the owner of this HTC Desire HD 1 month back,,but not now, thank god I sold it and got my 80% money back. ( atleast )
