current price is $899.99 for desire hd. I love htc phones just can't seem to find em in kenya. Gsm arena hurry up and review this phone

I don't think an Android compatible phone will ever be un-upgrade-able to whatever version of Android may appear in the nearby future !
That's not what Google has in store for its fans !

[deleted post]Which OS is your choice. I`ll go for Android for many reasons. DHD will be my choice. WM7 is clamied to highly improved, I`ve no experience, so can`t comment.

This 'cell' gives a new meaning to the term 'pancake sized phone'. I won't hold something like this next to my face even if I can get it for free ! Then I might just as well make a phone call from my 7in Samsung cell phone tablet :-)

Checked out HTC DHD today for form and surprisingly, it looked and felt smaller to hold than the HD2. Need an alternative to my IP4 which I like but enjoy the flexibility of android and tend to flip between IP4 and my X10 at the moment. I believe it is as good as the Desire and more, especially as a multimedia device and watching movies.
In short, to all the haters, if you don't like it, don't buy it.....SIMPLES! Don't hate on here, no one is interested.

I will never buy a HTC phone again. HTC Desire is unable to keep a stable 3G-connection, and according to the review at TechRadar http://www.techradar.com/reviews/phones/mobile-phones/htc-desire-hd-717295/review?artc_pg=9 they still have not fixed this fatal problem on Desire HD and it will most likely be the same fatal problem on Desire Z. HTC suck!
"We had a few issues with data connection though - on some occasions the phone would look like it has full signal but then you'd realise that those bars wouldn't change and you can't get any data - it was actually frozen, and we have no idea why."

As google announced the 3.0 Android which'll come out late this year and 3.5 Android which'll come out early 2011, is it logical t buy this phone ??
keep in mind that most probably it wont be upgradeable cause 2.x platform changes to 3.x

I have my Samsung Galaxy S and it performs really good. I guess your SGS has its specific problem, mine has no major problem at all. Its body is from plastic but the screen and camera lens cover are made from GORILLA GLASS (scratch proof glass). You couldn't underestimate SGS, it's the best smartphone to date. And if you're complaining about the battery of SGS, well, I could say that it's a user's fault. you don't even have the knowledge on how to optimize your battery. my SGS lasts for 2-3 days before battery gets drained. I use it everyday for WIFI (minimum of 6 hours), text messaging, calling and gaming. BTW, its froyo update will come on kies merely this november. So we'll see which is better...and probably the BEST...
