I have updated a long time. And there seems to b a few problems. When I am tipping sms, and I made mistake and I touch back space (to delete a letter) and it set me somewhere else, it is very very annoying. It is very buggy. so far, not so satisfied with 2,3,3

I updated to gingerbread 2.3.3 today is this the latest or 2.3.4? runs smoothly and seems battery usage is improved a certain extent.

Tied of waiting for HTC & Vodafone in Australia to release Gingerbread 2.3.4 every time I ask the question I get a blank none committal response as if we the consumers are plain idiots. Selling my Desire HD, change carriers and get the Samsung Galaxy S II running 2.3.4 instead.

rebel, 23 May 2011choose generic firmware but then u will not get arabic lang... moremy phone in unlocked from htc at first day and is not superted arabic or persian lang...

As far as i'm aware, if your handset is locked to a network the 2.3 update will not be available yet. In regards to the handset's performance - I couldn't really be happier. Well, I lie... I could have a Samsgung Galaxy S 2, but as it is, i'm tied into a contract and the HD is a brilliant phone regardless!

Hi can anyone tell me the battery life on this phone how good is it? With internet data running and without? If the phone is barely used after a full charge, how long will it last?

Just got this phone last month and I'm loving it. It may not have a dual core processor but it rocks. Just learn how to use this phone first before saying any negative stuff. It's more than what I expected it to be.

armin, 22 May 2011ah yes,i buy it full price as free sim from mobile shop 700... moreYou're using an Indian firmware, which is still 'branded' in the sense that it's not the unbranded WWE firmware.so must wait or try to find solution on xda developers.there is a way.u must root your phone.use visionary application then root explorer application.just find it and follow instructions on xda developers page
