Any idea if Motorola update its android 2.1 to 2.2 froyo or 2.3 gingerbread? Its not even available in Asia. Motorola is so slow in moving forward.

love it, sim free from starhub (S$528) and better than my original milestone and faster ( browsing, utube,etc...) than my friend's sgs....i try to root my phone by using super one click but i can't. ...my phone is singapore version and without motoblur......if someone know how to root the singapore defy reply me please because i can't install my font and can't read my email. Thanks.

Very happy with this phone! I had Milestone XT720- ok, on DEFY camera isnt so good, but the UI r much better and it feels, that DEFY is a little bit faster!

amazing phone. easy way to overclock to 1,2Gh 100% stable with only 60 volts that means no battery consumption.
motoblur sux but you always can install launcherpro to improve perfomance.
future froyo update.

Included USB cable, screen is excellent, (but I do sometime end up with it responding to commands I swear I never gave), - this phone comes highly recommended. Half the price of an iPhone, but with all the widgets and notifications that iOS does not offer.

Just bought it and exchanged it for another the next day, but still having the same problem with it getting hot while using online apps. Anyone else having the same problem? I think it's a great droid minus there's no usb adapter that comes with it, the screen is super sensitive with no stylus accessory option so you end up touching the wrong letter constantly which takes longer to complete any task. It's an affordable droid. You get what you pay for.
