I'd like if someone could comment on how good the Defy is as a 'music phone'.
Does it sound as good as a, say, Nokia X6 ? Has some custom equalization possibility ? What about the bass response ? Things like that ...

my first impressions taking this phone out of the box is how small it is,its incredible compact despite the large 3.7 inch screen,its almost insane! Great design by motorola

I have just upgrdaed my phone to the Defy and it is totally awesome, I just cant believe it the camera quality is outstanding shows up really little things so is very handy for me! totally unbreakable so brilliant to take out at the weekends! Im now the coolest kid at my school! BIBI PAJAZZLE

I love the defy, i takes great pic`s!! got a really clear one of my vajazzle!! Its a crocodile!! i dropped it in the toilet a couple of time while having a dump and it still works! smells a bit but works fine!! would recommend this handset!!

Hi out there! I got my DEFY yesterday. Ordered from expansys(Fance)and held it to my hands in two days time(Greece)unlocked and with Greek keyboard installed. Its fantastic!ONE OF THE BEST ANDROID PHONES.

i have come from a iPhone 4 to a blackberry 9800 torch,to the Motorola defy,and this is the best yet ! signal strength fantastic,nice rugged phone,i can keep it in my pocket with keys etc and it doesn't mark,really pleased with this one

Motorola has confirmed the defy will be getting android 2.2 albeit a little bit later than expected.
Still,this is a fantastic phone

Networks can subsidise their handsets with clawbacks from contract sign ups, but thats about it...
