Nowhere. It's just the preorder. Ships were postponed to november. Moto experiencing very very large production problems. They simply have almost no assembling facilities. This is why no defy yet available and this is why they are killing motorola mobility division around the world, instead of building new plants...

These are still big markets which justify continuation of "international business".

100 Moto, 18 Oct 2010I live outside of US and know people who work in Moto, the ... moreThe company kills their business even on profitable markets. Since 2010 they killed business in at least 6 countries.
All they are planning now is to be a private contractor for Verizon and T-Mobile reducing mobile business just to two anchored clients. At the moment nothing is planned for future for rest of the world.

Defy is a PHONE designed to make calls...in the roughest condition where no phone has ever gone before.

didn't you heard - motorola decided to close down international sales and will work only for t-mobile and verizon. so you can forget about this device.

Not like before Droid want be a exclusive product for verizon USA but it's going all over the world.
That why, Droid 2 with 1.2Ghz World Edition is coming as well as Droid Terminator 2Ghz with Gingerbread also CDMA & GSM world edition.

Nokia N8 or Motorola Defy, depends on what you do for a living i think, nokia N8 is great for pictures, and video, we'll, multimedia in fact, but if you are a nature's person like me, i think it would be great to have a Motorola Defy in backpack. so i would go for the Motorola, although i played with the N8 for about 30min, and it is a very fine peice of engineering! only down point, Motorola doens't sell in Belgium anymore :(
