have this phone yesterday and been trying to update this to froyo but the MSU says that theres no avail update for my phone, tried it on phil then singapore as country and still not working, pls help, thanks!

I had to put the MSU installer to Vista compatibility mode (I am using windows 7) and now I have got the MSU installed on my computer and got the MSU icon on my desktop as well. However I live in the United Kingdom- update is not available here yet- I was trying to install the Singapore version of MSU, belived its gonna work for me as it worked for guys in Philippines or other peaople who had no update available in their country as you can read the post for couple of days back. Appearently it doesnt matter which coutry you choose on the webpage, it will download the same MSU installer. I think during the detection of your phone it will read the previous firmware installed and locate if there is any update available to your phone. so I have to wait till Froyo comes to the UK. :(
