am planning to buy this phone, seem like to read bad comments ... i only want to have a music phone at an affordable price and i think this phone fits right?? ... found this phone @ 1,870.00 but not sure of what it includes though ... Can anyone recommend a similar phone that's affordable and music pklayer at the same time????????????

how to download misic to this stupid thing. there is no mp3 player ,this phone is really a turndown of mottorolla.u know i've alwaysed been fan of u guys but this is not good.

@ JhobitMore: you may copy songs from your computer using your microSD. Insert the MicroSD (of course you need to use the adaptor)to CP, then you may simply drag the songs to the music folder of your microSD... just like using a flash drive... if you're done from copying, safely remove your microSD then put it back to W230.

I bought this phone last month. It is a cheap phone, but voice quility is not good & sometimes there is no voice while talking. Its frastating me.

Lhen, 28 Aug 2008The battery sucks, same as my other motorola cellphone... ... moredid you follow the initial charging time of 12 hrs? you need to do this for 4 cycles for your batteries to fully work.

The battery sucks, same as my other motorola cellphone...
It's supposed to have a REALLY LONG battery life since it's a music phone but it hasn't... I just listen to the radio for like 30 minutes and the battery is already drained...
So the battery sucks... Sucks big time.

bought this fone yesterday for php1,905 i also bought 2gigs micro sd for php580.
the audio quality of the mp3 player is fine.
the battery needs to cycle (charge & discharge) a few times before it can perform its normal capacity.
its been 6hrs since i charged the fone, made a couple of calls & text messages, played mp3, etc. the battery icon is still full (3 bars).
i did not follow the instruction of the seller to charge it initially for 8hrs, the fone automatically stops charging once it has detected the battery is fully charged.
i also read from the internet that overcharging will heat up the battery and could shorten its life.
