i wish someone from samsung read comments on gsmarena about their products then they would know what have they done by axeing their own feet and digging their own grave with note 5.People havent yet recovered from superflop galaxy s6 flopshow and lagshow and many fans lost their trust and loyalty on samsung and this would be futher increased by this note 5.wounds of 1 year of pain dont recover so soon samsung.2015 worst year for samsung in terms of loosing its fans and also in terms of launching both superflop s series and note series which is no more unique like good old days.

Have been waiting for it like ... But no expandable memory? and no alternative? Samsung should know better. Where will all photos and videos go? after six months! Remove them and store in PC or hard drive / flash disk. Beats the purpose if you want all information on the go.
who wants to carry too many gadgets on the move?

note 5 hahaha wtf what a shamesung , lol copy cat of already super flop "nobody buy" s6 , stole every bit of it instead of s pen which you stole from note 4 with little advancements , note 4 has already reduced prices which is far better than note 5 in specs, being user friendly and flexible so it is value for money now.ypu launched you note 5 ahead of apple 6s in order to let your note 5 sell a bit but your biggest one sided competition would be your year ago launched better note 4 with reduced price thats gonna kill note 5 totally.everyone would buy note 4 now.samsung is still gonna gain anyhow and boast of its profit percentage in market this year but wont tell its becausw of note 4 hahahah

The camera, well, it's probably the best module Samsung could get their hands on. Sony is coming with a newer version, but Sony probably holds that back, untill they released their upcoming Z flagship.
At least, perhaps they should have played along with the selfie craze and provided a better selfie camera, when they could not provide a better main camera. Auto-focus are on other makers selfie cameras, and more wide-angle, I think.
The CPU, well I guess the newer version, with modem built in, wasnt ready for production yet. And they were stressed to get the Note 5 out before iPhone 6s Plus.
Will they quietly be updating it, in a couple of months?
Trditionally, the Note series, has provided some news over the S series, other than just the S pen, and the bigger screen.
Did something go wrong?
Was there issues with newer components they were planning to add?
If not, they should have released these phones along with the S6. The active as well (and globally, dont let network providers in one country/regon, get a global first hand deal, if they get it first, that should only apply for one coutry/region, where that network provider is planning on selling the device).
They could have then released a refresh of the whole line in a couple of months, with the new sony image sensor, new CPU (with integrated modem), and base storage at 64GB, and a couple of new colour options.

How thin you wanna go Samsung..? 2mm would be nice but sorry I would better go for a thicker one with removable bigger capacity battery and SD card slot, dual SIM if any. A few more mm wouldn't hurt anybody.

note 4 has pure 2.7 ghz quad core instead of exynos 7420 which is octa core consisting of two quad core out of which one is functional at a time 2.2ghz something for heavy usage and 1.7ghz for low usage which cant still beat beast note 4 processor which runs at 2.7 ghz at any instant.cummon samsung how can you think that 3000 mah non removable battery which has life cycle of 300 full charges for a power hungry quad hd QHD screen which was absent in even note 2 of 3100 mah battery.Why samsung why give us answers.We are not fools to buy your phones anyhow.No micro sd slot are you kidding me with not even 128gb option.these days with android lollipop and gaming (for which only we buy such high end expensive phones) 64 gb is not enough without memory card out of which we will get just 53 gb on board in name of 64 gb as rest space would be taken by touchwiz android apps etc.Now a days some people like to carry their memories in their phone like marriage , homeymoon pics videos photos or some other things,for just whatsapp and android usage there are far many hell lot cheaper options like moto g3 which has lag free stock android.why should we buy your phones at such mountain high price if they fail to fulfill our gaming and multimedia needs.Some foolish people will still buy your phone note 5 being latest flagship as they dont know much about phone's hardware till the launch of iphone 6s.after its launch with ios9 you will be finished samsung .Rip samsung .i have been your loyal user with all note flagships till dats but bye bye now till you learn your basics.

Wow this is even more sad and utterly disappointing.
Like I have no idea what the f**k they were even thinking, Pretty sure someone was high enough while putting those options on the note 5 or might be as well they don't give a hoot about people's choices.

Perhaps whatsapp is included these days?
Anhyhow yes, there are other common apps, that are also huge, and grows with every update.
I have older phones, where I have to deactivate standard apps, because there isn't enough storage for updating them all, even from a fresh install, with no other apps.
And sure 32GB will last you longer, but the higher resolution screen, also means that every app eats more storage, and it shoulndt be about, when your phone will be filled, it should be about having enough storage to use it, as well, and that includes 4K video clips.
If they are going to skimp on the storage. Then please give us the ability to uninstall pretty much every pre installed app.
And that goes to you google as well! surely, you cant require from your OEMs that all you apps have to be locked in the system, the Play-store app, well that is ok, but the rest of them, even if i peronally use chrome, maps, youtube, gmail, search, and even downloaded earth, I dont think they should be cosidered essential apps (the play store I can accept even if there are alternative, goole makes a lot of revenue from purchases of apps in their store, and since the OS is free...., but that only applies to the app store).

A complete FAIL, this coming from a Note 4 owner, who also owns a Nexus 6. The Note 5 does not need 4 GB of Ram, TW is a complete resources HOG, my Nexus 6 using the same hardware runs circles around the Note 4, smoother, faster, an overall better user experience.
Note 5 smaller "non removable battery" =Fail
Wireless charging "in 2 hours" is another joke "my Note 4 has wireless charging while using the same back plate" again Note 5 =Fail
Small "non removable" battery =Huge Fail
No micro SD card =Huge Fail
To sum it all up =Huge Fall by epic proportions.

Their s6 did not sell well enough and was complete flop so in order to utilise mass produced s6 which never sell or cant even attract customer so they tried reducing its price but it still did not sell much so they dismantled inhouse s6 and launched it with new hit name "note series" so atleast its chips and camera and other costlier items can be utilised as s6 flop show made big hole in samsungs pocke.so they are just recoveing their loss in form of s6 edge plus and note 5 and completely skipping actual expected note 5 this yearas they did not had recovered from last losses yet.Whatever forum says samsung has 40 percent market share is not because of only note series or s series it is because of hell lots of options of cheap or mid rangers phones by samsung.Good strategy by samsung now they can sell already super flop s6 at much higher prices in name of note 5 and fool people.But many of us are not fools nor you samsung are smarter than us ...your note 5 will flop big time even worse than s6 as 3000 mah battery dat too non removable cant be sufficient by any means that too at cost of 60000 which will i am damn sure be soon 30000 within 3 to 4 months after launch of iphone 6s.So people dont waste your money on this.

I have Used Note2 , Note3 and S6 , i was seriously considering of buying Note5 as i am a big fan of Note series , but i really wished for a MicroSD card slot , Now I'm thinking of buying Moto X Style which would definitely cost the half of Note5 and will have the firmware updates before everyone...!
But still i will check out both the phones before buying any one of them...!

well I live in the UK and was debating whether to buy this note 5, but having heard that it will not be coming to the UK any time soon, only USA and Asian markets for now, while we in blighty get the s6 edge + only, minus the removable battery (Bearable if its capacity was BIGGER then the note 4, but its only 3000mAh, not good for a power user and traveller, i have the s6 edge, and its a gorgeous phone but battery is crap, no micro sd slot.....for me its a big let down the way samsung have forgotton many of their loyal owners, for a lot of people I am sure 64gb is plenty, which to be fair it is a decent portion, but i have a massive media collection of TBs, but i also have a 200gb micro sd cad which really rocks and these past features were some of the main attraction to samsung over other androids, but i think my connection with samsung must come to an end
