They are older and more advance then any mobile device will ever be;). So, try to play games on a machine and not on a freaqin mobile phone.... As for the quality, i will never give a 730 for an asus;).

angee, 23 Oct 2015i hate the live tile interface...so childishSymbian had what android and ios has, since ever. To tell you the truth, the live tile and plain interface is something that finaly changed the same old, same old.... Wel, at least, with symbian you had themes and i could change it's interface quite often. Still, not that drastic as how wp is changed. So, wp looks quite really good

1.) MS has to learn to build smaller phones with premium HW (not budget ones). Not everybody want 5.7 telephones. Small hand, small phone. 3,7 - 4,3 - 4,5 these are still sizes people like, becuase they use the phone with one hand...
2.) Dedicated camera button is an important feature that distiguished Lumias for Android and IOS. This unique features is lost now. BRING IT BACK!!

People complaining about lack of apps,but guess what.every people i know use at top 10 basic apps(Viber,Whats App,etc).Windows had all that aps.Yes they not update that apps so often,but if Viber works fine,so i dont update,becouse sometime apps are destroyed with update.Ask your self how many apps from that billion apps in Play Store,you do actually need.WP is the fastest Os for mobile,and 90%of the people here not even touched Windows phone,and still commenting how bad it is.I used Android for years,and i wanted to give a chance to Windows,and 5 monts i use WP8.1,it is incredible fast,but little ugly.In last 20 days i use Windows 10 Mobile,and i can say it is great,still buggy,but in latest build its almost finished.Looks beautifull,and with little help from his older brother Windows 10,for Pc,i think he will get place he deserves.

Lumia 640XL, 23 Oct 2015Few thing I want to mention about people here bashing micro... moreMost of the basic needs for a phone is still missing in windows. Apps available in the store forgot the word 'update' . Most of the popular apps are outdated. I used 525 later jumped the ship.

The real fact is... Microsoft Lumia hardware built quality is quite good, but software is very very poor for all affordable lumia, in comparison with other Android budget phones.
I own one lumia 730 in July 2015,for INR Rs15,400/- with only 1GB RAM, facing some stuttering issue while playing HD games. Now for the same price ,I bought One Asus Zenfone 2 with 4GB RAM and double the in built memory. I am more satisfied with my current phone performance.

I m using best lumia camera and had the chance to use a Xiaomi phone. I was blown out by the feature list of Miu. Camera quality was not at par with 1020 but surely much better than 640.

1. Wrong price strategy for lower hardware. It was fault with Nokia and MS pricing is good, I can say with the 640 and 640XL.
2. People blaming MS not releasing high end mobile for nearly 1.5 yrs, how many people will be ready to buy 8.1 mobile knowing 10 will be release in few month. Surely even if they release it wont sell
3.About app gap - It region specific and i live in India and i have all the apps which i used in andriod(for the people who are saying official app for youtube and gmail we have better alternative) and with windows 10 for phone they r providing ability to run Android and IOS app in Windows 10 phone
4.Best camera and Continuum belong to Lumia which will require hell lot of time to do it by IOS or in Android.
5. Even 4 year old hardware will run windows 10 for phone smoothly which never happens for other OS.
