The CLARO 3G network is very Strong in Jamaica. It was only today Saturday July 3,2010 that a visitor to the Island was carrying his IPHONE 4, curious as I was about the allegations surrounding the issues with the Antenna I decided to ask him if he was having problems on the AT&T network regarding drop calls, not surprise, he said YES! well the "death Grip" was applied to the IPHONE 4 as that was shown in many IPHONE 4 reviews where the signal would drop to "ZERO", well It did not move from full strength, not even 1 bar of signal was dropped, he tried it with both hands, gripping the phone as if he wanted to choke the phone to death.. is there a problem with the AT&T Network??

So why can't you just wait and see if this os update can improve reception from dropping? You're not using an iphone anyway, so why are you overly concerned? :)

those were replaced
and the faulty square button on the psp sony fixed that
and with nokia with the 5800 NAM when it came to N.A it wasn't nokia's RF problem it was the neworks but nokia took the fall and recalled the phone that were on pre order and gave the a firmware update to fix
and it was fine after
the iphone 4's reception issue is a WORLD WIDE problem

i think it's high time this apple guys stops cruising on the mentality of the average phone user. What can a firmware upgrade do to a poorly designed phone. Will it rearrange the signal receptors within the device? They better start a recall of all defective phone like other companies have been doing.

apple doesn't care they just want as much money as possible before something goes terrible like what just happened
remember that big fiasco nike had with children working in the factories that make their products
they HAD to fix that even if it hurt their image for a few years time
and where no jealous were just informing the misinformed and unfortunate people
i bet you didn't know how evil apple is my friend worked for them for 3 years
and since i live in canada
the iphone came late
so the people that had them and worked at the apple store could not be seen in public at work with an iphone or they would get fired on spot or even as to have it on floor
