Nokia 3250 and SE W810 released

i would recommend nokia 3250 as it is a symbian phone and there are a lot many things u can do in symbian phone for e.g. u can install any sis camera application in 3250 but not in w810i

The W810i is poor phone from the poor manufacturer. Tiny screen and tiny keys, cheap looking design. 3250 has more functionality.
3250 will dominate cause only a few w800 or k750 owners will "upgrade" their phones with w810 - it has nothing new.

3250 dont have light for the camera =( i dont know if the external flash pd-2 works on it.....they really shld hav put a integrated LED light on it.

Zuber, 3250 SOUNDS BETTER than w810, i've tried them! And 3250 screen is better and bigger too. Poor SE... it need to be very cheap to compete with 3250...

The Sony Ericsson phone seems gorgeous and handy. The SE phones are better in Camera, Mp3 quality and Screen Quality but Symbian OS in Nokia phones is edge over SE. Only If Sony Ericsson starts incorporating Symbian OS in their phones, They would be the TOP CHOICE of every sensible and practical people.

Check the SE's camera style and walkman function, it's really nice looking and hard to resist.

I am seriously considering buying a new feature rich phone. Would it be safe to consider SE's W810i or should it be a wise choice to go with Nokia's 3250. Both are relatively new products in the market so it's early days to judge them on thebasis of their performance and customer feedback. Hence I would request someone who has done a serious feature 2 performance analysis to provide me with relevant data before I make a choice.

If ne1's tried out both the phones, they could comment and compare the stereo sound quality. Also does the nokia 3250 have a flash for the camera ?

the w810 cannot load more than a 100 full lenght tracks or 10-15 full length cds but obviously its memory capacity will be far better than the nokia 3250

Symbian system is not stable.
Nokia software must be compare to SE software for fair judgement.
If you are not SE USER before and always stick to Nokia then I suggest you do your own comparison.
Years of experience, I sums up that SE Camera is better e.g. 2mp w800i compare to N90 2mp carl zeiss lens. price is more affordable, sound clarity is top notch due to good quality amp inside the hood.
in response to comment that w810i is an improvement of w800i, Nokia 3250 is also an improvement of 3230. W810i implement a more user friendly button rather than w800i.
My w800i have serve me well in terms of camera, sound clarity
whereas my past 3230 is a big dissapointment in terms of cheap built, long lag time to open file when ur mmc card only occupy 50% of my 256mb. I wonder how this 3250 will perform with 1GB memory card?

il prefer the w810i. i still don't like twisting candybar phones.
but i have to admit the 3250 has symbian.

I just purchased 3250 yesterday... One thing I really like about that phone... it has the BEST NOKIA SPEAKERS... playing music is WOW...

the big advance the nokia one have its symbian also bigger screen. quality can be given to argument because nokia sound is plain still loud and Sony Ericsson its only good because the megabass without it it doesnt sound that good. both phone have EDGE, Bluetooth. and come with 512mb cards. the microsd cards are cheaper by the way. you can get 3 1gb microsd cards for the price of a 2gb memorystick duo pro one. the cameras are comparable. the 3250 is almost the same as the n70. and the w810 = k750i/d750.
oh and if you don't like the mp3 player in the nokia 3250 you can install a third party one on your own. and maybe get better audio quality. while the w810 can't do that.
battery life : nokia 3250 = 11 hours SE W810 = 15 hours (SE always doubles his times they said it should be 30 hours but in test it doesnt go further than 15 hours, i think that goes for the standby time. if they say 8 hours i would dare to say it only 4 hours. nokia is more realistic in their battery life.)
all posted there were tested by me. and gathered info also from mobile-review. so for me the winner is the 3250 =)

Guys I guess Nokia and SE guys do a SWOT analysis.List all the features both gives with their official prices. Give 1 point against the feature you feel is useful to you. Add up the points on both sides. The side which gets maximum points wins. SIMPLE..!
Subjective arguments are endless. The arguments put forth in this forum may confuse many buyers especially newbies.
This is not a chat room or a platform for who shouts better and louder.
People..! Please give useful tips, suggestions,links which will help mobile users and will be a sounding post for mobile phone manufacturers
