If you don´t compare p990 and n80, both phones have symbian and the same features, you can´t compare w810 and 3250 because symbian, the 3250 is a 7650 with sd card and headphones

Nito, the 3250 has 512mb in its kit too.
Tarantula, dont compare n80 and p990, the last one is much bigger and aimed to very very very limited market segment.

Think of this as a boxing match with one boxer in a lower weight division and still wins. This bigger guy is just a bloated slugger of a boxer.

Well, well, well! Just how does Nokia 32** stand with the camera test and MP3 test? Why don't you tell this truth plainly and honestly? Nokia is just so 'stone age' when it comes to these areas and truth be told plainly; these are what the majority of the consuming public wants...not Symbian OS.
If you like a device with a Symbian OS. Go for SE W950 or M600 which belong to another class. I bet Nokia will fall short on this again.
I don't know why a phone with Symbian OS is compared with a phone without one. It makes you think that this Nokia 3250 is the bottom feeding low-life of that class.

You can forget your Symbian OS. It better off utilised in laptops or PDA's. Choose a phone which has everything that matters with reference to the current trend; camera, MP3 player, good screen resolution and lastly don't forget its network capabilities.

I'd Totally take the Sony. 512MB memory stick being the main reason.

The technology question is only marketing factor, if you talk about screens, go with sharp (2,2inch and 640*480), if you talk about camera, bluetooth, sound go with SE.
Nokia attemps to create a bestseller like T68, T610 or K750 including all possible tech (N80), but P990 is the rival, include all tech in N80 and has touchscreen.
SE Is the winner in technology area, that is the true

I can't imagine anyone getting satisfied with a phone loudspeaker. People are buying Home Theater systems with 3D sensurround and suddenly you get so enthusiastic about your loudspeaker. The loudspeaker is always 'beside the point' so to speak. The point here is to have the best MP3 player. That's why SE is not so heavy on improving the loudspeaker. It's because they shifted their attention to the MP3 player and the result is perfect! Now, Nokia fans do you have anything else to brag about but your lame ass loudspeaker and your Symbian OS which is really not much of a help in improving the phone navigation and operating system.

                      Are you people all right?
First of all the word SMARTPHONE is quite unclear these days.
Second NOKIA Smartphones seems to be rolling NOKIA software, which by anymeans does not give application direct access to components. Basicly speaking, software components interact with the OS of the phone. Therefore you cannot find some killer innovative application and you are spammed with the same Symbian OS junk as it is spreaded now.
SonyEricsson introduced Symbian, years ago and has the greatest cooperation between phone/software. And still the keep their mid-range models without it why? Because they do now that JAVA application can give the application enough access for any basic function that is currently given on rivals open OS phones. And they may not appreciate the efforts of some small rival brands, but for NOKIA they DO.
So having a little bit more space with NOKIA is sure, but please do not confuse it with the first really innovative applications that came in 7250/P800 era. And have in mind that SE is probably much faster in anything due to the optimized SONY software.
And if you really prefer open OS phones - stick to the Best like P990 as someone said or switch to PDA...

I think it's grossly unfair comparing nokia 3250 to SE W810 .FIRST of the nokia is symbian 9.1 and using the 3rd edition of S60 while the sonyerisson is a close end phone. That alone set both phones worlds apart and i wonder what people still honestly argue. Yes the SE might be on top in sound quality but the nokia produces a great sound with clear bass too.Now talking nokia and SE, we all know nokia phones are more durable and technologically driven. Nokia has revolutionize the the mobile industry twice. First was at the time gsm was still young and now they have done it again with the N and E series.everyone else is just struggling to meet up. SE hasn't introduce anything new to the market. And why has the only SE PHONE(p990)that could be used in comparison with the new nokia phones hasn't be released since it was announced way back last september. Truth of the matter is SE hasn't been able to produce an ultimate smart phone that will boast of 3G, EDGE,WIFI.THAT is why they keep postponing the date of release. But it no big wonder. SE HAS never been stable and consistent with the progression of symbian. Their first smart phone was p800 and was symbian 7 and now they are having a hell of a problem producing a symbian 9 phone because the didn't have a symbian 8. Nokia on the other hand started with symbian 6 then progressed to 7, 8 and 9. Little wonder innovation is synonymous with the brand

From my experience i know that when you buy an Mp3 software and install it in a nokia phone it can not play ass nice as the mp3 it came with.such softwares are meant for those who had the older version without mp3. let me give you a test, go listen to an N-gage with sony headsets and tell me if it aint good,as for the N70 i cant say but Nokia 3250 is great with sony headsets or any other good headset.

In my experience 3250 has better sound than the w800 one, and much better screen (it is 40% bigger, brighter). Dont know how any one can say that w810 screen is comparable, it is just fanatics claims that have never seen 3250 screen.
And built quality is same, twister is very solid too.
So tru the 3250, you will like it much more.
You can also concider the 6280, which is better than w810 for miles: 3G, qvga screen, 640x480 video, nicer design.

I doubt it. I got my LG before i took my N70 after 4days of usage. You know what, the LGp7200 sounds even better than the N70 even with my SONY headset. I downloaded Power MP3 software for s60 OS for my n70. But the sound isn't still that good. Like tin can. So i decided to get SE w900. I tell you, SE is just so sweet. I am talking based on what ive experienced.

i agree that SE phones have better mp3 quality than Nokia 60 phones but try listenin to Mp3 on Nokia using your favorite headset e.g sony, apple, sennheiser etc and tell me which is better, thats why the Nokia 3250 comes with the HS-20 Music heatset. So those who are looking for the best out of their nokia 3250 and other version e.g Nseries phones should do this and you will see the SE phones come no where near nokia phones and knowin that in functions nokia phones beat SE, with your favorite headset nokia comes head-to-head with SE walkman a audio production. Apart from the SE UIQ series(P990) all other SE phones should be not be compared with the lastest Nokia 60 phones but with Nokia's latest 40series 3rd edition that is the category SE phones fall under with nokia.

SE has their own market strategy quite different from Nokias but talking about this two phones i will be quite frank.Though i am a died hard SE fan from Nigeria. I think the Nokia 3250 has an advantage being a symbian but that is just as far as it goes, the SE W810i is going to knock off not just the 3250 but any other nokia in sound, picturs and usability and the Waikman function is just another killer for the nokia.

Well I jus got W 810 yesterday and its amazing compared to Nokia 6280 which i bought last week. 6280 had major software problems. I was replaced with another 6280 but i was facing the problems. Now i was replaces with W 810 and its an amazing phone with good picture quality cpmpared to any other Nokia phones.
