steve being mad.that idiot dont know that people dont hold their phone like he shows in his video.he should overcome that problem by solving antenna instead of blaming other phone.nobody claim yet about other brand phones signal problem.I think if antena is covered tightly of any phone it reduces the signal strength but not like this that in apple iphone 4.i m currently using iphone3G,samsung monte and nokia n97 all are good and have good signal.

I cannot believe how much Apple (instead of addressing their own problem) is pointing the finger at other MFG. As if Honda had a recall and would start pointing at others about their problems. This is sooo childish its ridiculous. Apple deserve whats coming to them.

Nokia had it coming, nobody was talking about them at the antennagate press conference and they still went and gave their opinion...
im not an apple fan boy but if you want to mess with steve jobs and apple you should be prepared and make sure there's no way they can fight back...

They are very sucks. Don't worry, I am a N97 mini user, after saw this video and I try it, As a result, it just drop 3 bars only, no problem like above video say like that drops from 7 to only 2 bars, seems Apple iphone 4 serious than Nokia N97 mini, it drop until zero signal. Bored~~

I guess Apple should have employed some other way of dealing with Antennagate saga... An organisation which claims to be the best in market can't/shudn't try to project faults in other products to support its own and regarding Apple's video on N97, it's ridiculous. Apple would atleast take a decade more to build the reputation that NOKIA has and that too if Nokia shuts down tomorrow. It is high time Mr.Steve Jobs, grow up fast. Please answer the critics with a product that lives up to your advertisement.

"The question remains though - would that drop be bad enough to cause a dropped call as it is on the iPhone 4?
It's not even funny anymore."
I SOO agree with you GSMArena. Apple is just throwing mud at these companies, and it's getting pretty lame now. Instead of owning up, they continue to shift the blame. This is truly pathetic.

I love the statement " costomers don't like being told how to hold their phone " Its normal to experience bad signal when the antenna of the phone is covered but the issue is, where did the apple put their antenna? 1+1=2

rainai, 21 Jul 2010I'm not a fan of Nokia phones. But, in fairness to the one... moreyea another thing WHO the hell grips their phone that hard ?
that's the problem with apple they know if if the antenna is covered and touched my human contact it would mess up
the antenna on the n97 mini is not exposed like the iphone 4
jobs is still trying to point fingers cause i've used the mini and i never had any bars drop on me
so this must be a faulty one lol

Well, I have a Nokia E71 and have no problems at all.
In my opinion Apple is a big hit, but also a big hype! Apple is extremely arrogant and expensive too. And as with many (expensive) hypes, they will not last for ever. We will see what time brings. But Apple has been warned!
