03 October, 2010

The author is absolutely right about the whole thing. many reviewers seem like they are unfit to do such reviews, as some comparisons they make while reviewing the products are rubbish, as the basic criteria for comparing itself is wrong. and most often the reviews look very biased, You will realize this when a product which you are using currently is reviewed, and you don't seem to find any if the problems mentioned by the reviewers.

There are some situaions, that you can give your personal opinion (usability, intuitivness etc.) and reviews are subjective by the person, who wrote it. If someone doesn't like Symbian, he won't start to love it in N8, to be fair with readers. What's more - we've options: I can read review at GSMArena, at Gizmodo, at Engadget and make my personal average. And the fact, that N8 is one of the headsets, that Nokia want's to become important, it's absolutelly not important for me, as for user. N8 has NOTHING that i'll want to have in my phone (for 7 years, that I'm using phones with cameras, I used them mayby 5 times), and for the flagship it has nothing more to offer for high-eend user except that camera... So I don't see the reason to praise Nokia and N8...

Questions to all Andriod and iOS fans:

1.Can you state all your phone can do that N8 can't??

2.DO you really think your phone can beat N8 in terms of functionality?

3.If your phone has lots of eye-candy, you think its superior?

4.Have you ever touched a Nokia N8 or any Symbian^3 device before bashing Nokia?

4.1 if NO, dont you think its kinda pathetic comparing things that only live in your puny mind?

i cant believe how foolish people have become, eventhough you like your iPhone or an Android phone doesnt mean its a perfect phone for everyone. IT ALL DEPENDS ON YOUR PREFERENCE.

i hope you can digest what it means.
buy a nokia n8 and then share us your PERSONAL EXPERIENCE, we don't need your HYPOTHESIS.

i hope there will be 5 inches screen phone w/ keypad in year 2011. no more than 200g.

3.5 inches screen is still too small to serve internet or play games.

                currently, prefer 4" w/ keypad nokia E7 over 3.5" N8/iphone.
use the screen 99% and 1% the camera/video/fm

all people know n8 is slower, why still arguing on this issue.
As an mobile internet user, i need flash and can insert attachment(photo or document). i don't want to go to another pc/laptop then it is ultimate slow.
slower a bit but functioning is wise choice.

                        symbianfrance found out
that the Nokia N8 is faster
                        than the iPhone 4 at
                        browsing from albums A
to Z. For example on the
                        iPhone 4 you would need
                        to scroll with your fingers
                        like 15 times or more
                        (depending how many
                        albums you have) just to
                        reach the first or last
album on the list. But on
                        the Nokia N8 that amount
                        can be reduced to 4-5
                        scrolls because the Nokia
                        N8 has another way of
                        managing coverflow. So if
you have a lot of music
                        this can surely help.

yes you are right gsmarena this same thing i have also observed :) when i saw the samples of iphone 4 and n8 and even video there were many shaking points in n8 may be the guy who was testing n8 forgotten to hold n8 like a phone cuz at the same time he was using iphone 4 :p which has obviously signal reception issues you know what i mean

although there was the time SYMBIAN was considered to be the king of the mobile world because of its user friendly UI etc but i think still symbian is very nice OS except the eye candy thing but symbian is a proper perfect OS and andriod too i love both OS but IOS4 is crap

i really depend on your website whenever i wish to buy anything because of your neutral attitude towards your profession

I saw the video and I totally agree that its not fair for the N8. I also cant believe the camera will take that long, I will probably give N8 a chance and decide when I got mine. Nokia's best phone ever!

A large number of U.S. blog sites are paid by them to review phones in a specific light. Google and Apple feel threatened by Nokia especially with their Meego coming out, their QT platform and their awesome hardware. The N8 trounces every mobile there is in existence due to its hardware. A lot of people will buy it because if its camera - this means there will be less sales for iPhone and Android devices. They feed this hate through their fans, because Americans will easily hate anything non-American, it's part of the cultural upbringing. Anything they cannot control must be destroyed, hence the hate campaign. I doubt they'll succeed though. Most consumers in the world are smart enough to go by their own experiences and not some blog posts.
