R.I.P. Note7, we will never forget your mind-blowing journey. You were just like fire. You were like a explosion, first very loud and then quiet. My heart will always burn for you.

AnonD-330605, 11 Oct 2016Don't worry guys Samsung galaxy s8 or s8 edge coming this J... moreWhen they also rush these phones instead of bringing them in spring like always, Samsung will be dead. They have to be really careful with the S8. And also, SD 830 is likely to not be a beast. Adreno 630 yes, Kryo cores 2nd generation no. Apples Hurricane cores on A10 Fusion are too far ahead.

Samsung low end devices, are being trashed on a regular basis by the competition, which is Xiaomi, Meizu, Oppo, OnePlus, LeEco, ZTE, etc. The most prominently innovative and complete line, the Note, has been permanently marked (keep in the mind that Note users should be the most "technology know-how's" of Samsungs distribution and that implicates such users, the ones that know of it, will avoid a smartphone that altough technologically advanced, has a hazardous tag in its roots). The S lineup is the 'wow' line from Samsung and its the one that always carries the biggest bang in commercials and discussion. Thing is, Samsung now literally has to put out all of its horses in the S/S-Edge lineup, because its low end, mid end and now the Note end lineups, are either being demolished by cheap flagships or gotten a reputation that even Sony doesnt deserve right now.

Even Apple Decided to Not use Samsung Chip Anymore. TSMC Have better Build Quality. Toshiba Making iphone's internal Storage.. SkHYnix Making iphone's Ram chip. So Apple and other manufacturer Doesn't Need Samsung low Quality product At All.

Someone Else, 11 Oct 2016If this situation had affected any other smartphone company... morefirst thing they need to do is clarify if the burnt "safe" note 7 are real or just fakes (already issuing the investigation)
second (if the claims are real) they need to make a statement of what exactly was wrong with the phones, i'm thinking it shouldn't be battery issues since they should've been already changed in the second manufacturing process so maybe it's some other hardware issues (could be software but less likely)
third and last, bring up a way to catch the eye (and trust) of the next generation of buyers next year
i think they can pull it off (and most likely will) but the future is untold and it'll all depend on their strategy for next year and maybe 2018 as well

I thought this would happen coz, samsung skipped the note 6 name and replaced it as note 7, And also this occured due to name curse & use of low quality hardware because of korean SAMSUNG's thursty of competition n money hunger, take this as lesson n be innovative, make highend low cost products to people. Ultimate truth is people is ur wealth not the profits.....

This will be just a blip in Samsung's radar. Of course, it is a quick jab in the short term, but the pain is not that bad in the long run. Samsung makes so many devices, and they still have their flagship for the year, the S7 and S7 EDGE.
Samsung put a lot in marketing. Consumers have a short attention span. By next year, people will be buying the S8, and pre-orders for the new Note will also be sold out. It will be business as usual. Samsung as a brand is still strong. People won't just suddenly disregard Samsung completely, especially if they are not even affected (eg. Non note-7 users).

Of course, if there are issues with the S8, then Samsung will be in real trouble.

Build quality goes far beyond the pretty shell you are holding in your hands. It also includes the inner parts that make the phone work. Which in this case; samsung has failed miserably. Yeah it is well put together on the outside. But its pretty much a ticking time bomb on the inside!

The note 7's battery is not interchangeble, so how do you buy 3rd party cheap battery... the original batt is busting up in flames now not replacement batt...don't you read the report before commenting?
