Zach, 11 Oct 2016Hope the S8 and Edge 8 have removable batteries!Perhaps that could be the best thing to come from this, a return to the former glory of removables.

I'm bleeding from within here. This world isn't any fair sometimes. Just a small mistake ruins reputation of one of the best(if not the best) phone manufacturers we've got on earth! It feels so sad in the being of those of us who have been daily checking this website since the birth of android til this day when I read this article just a few minutes ago. It has been long since I cried like this. I hate the month of September

Anonymous, 11 Oct 2016Note4.. rofl. Its a 32bit weakling.It's a 32 bit Krait.
A KRAIT!
That is far from weakling. It's more powerfull than many 64 bits processors in the market.

Yup, there is a problem, but it is not as massive as people make out when you consider how many Note 7s are out there.

Anonymous, 11 Oct 2016Most likely not a battery related issue, since the replacem... moreagreed, besides investigating wether the report of phone on fire are real or not, Samsung must investigate what was the issue of the new Note 7, it shouldn't make sense to be another battery issue (that would be plain dumb) so if it's another hardware issue (or who knows, even software overloading the processor or something) they have to adress it as soon as possible otherwise the risk will still be there in the next flagships

If Samsung wants to stay in the mobile market then Samsung should put others phones in right prices otherwise people's are ready to leave the Samsung as a Master engineer of the mobile phones now circumstantially. Now China brands making good and affordable phones in high specification with best hardware.
Samsung should adopt only ten dollars profit strategy with mid range and high ends phones otherwise Samsung is going into the sea bottom.
