i am still waiting for SAMSUNG to declare that the problem is resolved. I have waited for many years since the NOTE series was introduced to SAMSUNG FAMILY, before NOTE 7, NOTE EDGE was on high list, but then news came of NOTE series with IP safety.
So my current Smartphone is not working satisfactorily and continue to use till good news from SAMSUNG.

You will never know if you didn't try it. The note 7 is a magical device it's really very very handy tool (and now you can use it as handgranat).
We need to know what is wrong before we give a such good phone.

I wouldn't mind keeping my note 7 even if that means not being able to update it, then wait for the next note to arrive. But then i won't be able to resell it so that's a problem. I'm pretty sure my unit isn't one of those that has the higher risk of catching fire.

I am already fed up with samsung device and their update policy. I am a owner of S2, S4, Alpha, Note 3 & Tab S2 but now a proud owner of Moto X style.

                            No more samsung for me.

[deleted post]Yea lol... but i think at that time the specs of note 7 will barley be mid range. I will just wait for the S8, very disappointed with the V20 and pixel

What's the use when the phone won't recieve any update. These dumb peeps are endangering their life as well the life of people surrounding them !

Sure, a normal statement to read, many of the devices are bought without contracts and out of the company's reach ( smuggeled ) these users have to still usuing it till either it expolde or find a way to give it back
