Some of the last 3G capable Nokia feature phones were the 301 (ran S40 instead of S30) and 515.

It's a shame that HMD/FIH cannot come out with a Nokia branded S30+ based phone with 3G support, whereas companies like ZTE can (with their ZTE Cruise for Telstra here in Australia) and Aspera with their F series.

AnonD-523334, 24 Feb 2017Agree This guy just wrote his opinion about feature phones and their usability.
No need to insult him or agree with the guy that insulted him.
And stop being ironic to people's comment...

There is no ultimate truth for phones and generally even for life.
(while one is wishing for death another is wishing for life).

Stop being ironic(''you are going to cry'' and don't agree with rude comments).
if you don't find feature phones useful it is your right but let also others write a different opinion without insulting them.

Many of you are criticizing this phone for not being able to do things smartphones do. Setiously are you nuts? I don't use feature phones for a long time too but damn thing about other people too! Why else are feature phones still selling? They are not selling as well as before but there are millions people buying them every year. You are not one of them? Fine. I'am not one of them too. But let them be.

I'm definitely getting one if the price doesn't exceed 99 euros and the battery last at least two weeks just to support Nokia:P

KMB877, 24 Feb 2017Tonymancs, I had a 3310 before, and I can't see any reason ... moreImport core contacts to your SIM card. Boom, problem solved. A 64 KB sim can store 250 numbers and there are SIMs with even bigger capacity. Apps? Many people don't even use them. You use such phone mainly for backup calls. I've stated I won't buy it for now but many people will buy it. MANY. Not everyone loves smartphones. 3310 and Nokia lovers also count in.

And time has indeed changed. Last phones made in Finland were from 2008-2010. Those days when phones are made in Europe (my N93 and N91 are from Finland, 6310i Germany and 3310 Hungary) are gone. Nokia 808s are mainly made in China and I'am completely fine with it. HMD is definitely Nokia Mobiles 2.0. Why the hell else would Nokia Technologies make a join announcement with them and Withings which belongs to Nokia?

Enough saying, lets wait for MWC.

In todays world where most phones look essentially the same, it is nice to see some phone fun and splash of colour. When phones were just good phones, you could not get the new reiteration fast enough. Small devices are cute, convenient and on what they need to do. People were more sociable then to some extent. Today much obsession. Yup I like mine too. However, their is something to be said for revisiting some of these designs. My best little capable Nokia was the awesome 6720 classic, curved, classy, capable little brick. Great to see a modern version of that. Look forward also to seeing their next flagship.

Can't use 3310 even as backup phone (example: can't see any way to import Android contacts from gmail to S30). Beside, no email, no Viber & Whatsapp, not even the weather info.
On the other hand, will be this phone only a 2G, eventually 3G as the 150? Bad luck again, operators in Japan, South Korea, the US, Australia and Singapore are already started to shut down 2G networks. Europe it's scheduled to say good-bye to 2G in 2020, 3G earlier...
Again, can't see any reason to buy one.

tonymancs, 24 Feb 2017Oh, I forgot to say those designs from SE, Motorola or Siem... moreSo how about it aren't we trying to revive Nokia because once we loved it and no matter who is rulling the brand? One day Microsoft and the next day HMD? I like a nokia that when i look at the printed part under the battery it's written made in Finland

Oh, I forgot to say those designs from SE, Motorola or Siemens were very good but none of them reached god status of 3310. So it won't even make any sense to remake them.

It runs different software to the Nokia 3310

                                Then it won't be a Nokia 3310.

I probably won't buy it for now because I use Nokia 808 PureView as secondary phone but one day I will buy it to enrich my phone collection. There are many people who don't need smartphone features and this neo 3310 can be a great deal for them.

Or motorala reproduce the the V? And Siemens SL45? Are we paying for our memories? At least I'm not rich enough to do so
