Anonymous, 04 May 2017JRE Durability test isn't the same as drop test If I calculate everything, accidentally bending your phone (where this phone is great at) will be about 20% to happen, while 40% is dropping, and the 60% goes to others like scratching, burning, etc. (all of them are in the 60%)

So JRE's video is not portraying how will it really perform in real life, rather just takes the durability test to a new level that will likely to happen in life

    Samdroid army incoming

Moral lesson: don't drop your phone. If you do, it's your own damned fault so live with it.

AnonD-39937, 04 May 2017did you heard of LG G6?Yeah I don't like LG G6 I'm a bit of OC, the thinner bezel at the top and larger bezel at the bottom bothers me so much hahahahahahahahaha

on this test, the 49 drops was fine just like the other flagship, but when it get through to the 50th it suddenly became crap? Okey I'm done!!! I'm sure they did something with the last but I don't want to give any assumption.

if you want a S8 you must PAY it...if you're not a monkey, then buy a "flat" phone which is more durable, cheaper and even easier to use with fewer edges and not ultra-tall screen.

My advice don't drop it. Or for those really mentally challenged buy a case.

To be honest I really don't like curved edges. But the infinity screen is wow. I wish there was an S8 with a flat screen version I would definitely go for that.

of course it will break when you drop it, its made of glass! duh! but what i dont understand is why the hell do you need to do a drop test and drop your expensive, precious phone for about 50+ times? just buy a case to protect it, i dont care if its looks big with a case, but whats important is that you take good care of your s8, coz it is expensive.

I use Note 4 for about 2+years now, and im taking good care of it. not even a single 1foot drop had happend. these are just stupid test just to discourage you to use the S8.

No problem since I think Samsung will released another flagship next year and Sammy fan are both rich and loyal so they will surely bought the next also even though try knew same thing is going to happen.
P.s. Now I understand why Samsung sale is increasing..

A phone has not been created to be dropped on the ground. And certainly not 50 or 100 times!

MobileMan, 04 May 2017Basically samsung is saying you want design & style &am... moreThe only undoung of the s8 is the paid media and filling the threads with anti Samsung Pr negative comments.
If you need 50 drops of your phone to tell you that you are stupid, then you are stupid enough to buy even the irrelevant iphone, with its maaaaaaasive ugly last decade screen and bezells, Yeah, get one of those and you can walk around with that frankenstein in your hands with its broken screen. Alright then..competition..hands up, some one who's never seen some one holding an iphone with a cracked screen , "i" cracked . Yep thats PREMIUM build for ya..
