You already removed the dumb curve and useless 3D from your newest OLED TVs (which I just bought the EG9100, and it's a beast), so why do you start now with the curve on the screen? The G6 has a much better front design.

Obviously really interesting. We'll see which/who will be really the best overall, the Note 8 or the V30? (among the others). Plus, hopefully it will include a 6GB RAM as standard, and not 4.

I'm pretty sure they will use the ssme bad camera sensors as in g6 snd have the same worst support on market. They never fixing any bug, what you will buy initially - you will use it till the end. Updates from lg never fixing any UI of apps bugs.

But since samsung added 0.5 on top of 18:9 they are absolve of copying right. Don't forget to mention "simultaneously" also since previous leaks and prototypes of s8 shows conventional screen ratio and absence of rounded corners before announcement of G6 new display specifics.

I told you even 1 year ago that because of the low sales, LG will copy Samsung. But the reason why LG have low sales is that they have poor build quality, poor quality of G5 module contact (gap, wears out quickly), bad reputation due to bootloops, shattergate (fragile camera glass), ugly design (the back of G5, V20, G6), weak GPS, poor quality screen (image retention). And LG still don't understand why the low sales. They still don't understand what did they wrong. Therefore they misunderstand the failure of G5 and started copying Samsung with glass unibody, non-removable battery, small bezels and curved screen.

I hope LG V30 will be a big flop and profit loss, in hope that they will learn their lessons and will go back to the G4 and V10 design (removable battery, IR blaster, flat screen, LCD screen) for their future phones (and fix the bootloop and shattergate (fragile camera glass) once and for all).

LCD is better than AMOLED. But unfortunately LG used the same poor quality LCD screen since G4. That's why they have image retention and other problems. All other brand's LCD screens are flawless.

Cranky Romano, 03 Aug 2017Nobody told samsung to stop copying lg dual camera, always ... moreYou do know that:
1: AOD was released and developed simultaneously on both the G5 and the S7x
2: The rounded corners were also developed simultaneously. It's not because LG unveiled their device 2 months earlier that they were the first with the idea.
3: Dual cameras are everywhere, including those cheap selfie-focused devices from a well-known Chinese company.

@LG: Please do us a favor: Don't mess up this phone, I beg you. Currently it could be THE phone for me.
