By the way it is still touchwiz 3.0.

    I think changed to cyanogen mod will be more faster .Cyanogen nightly build always awesome !

        I am unable to update my Gt-i9000 in india, please let me know if it is available to update by Kies. I haev tried through Kies but no latest firware detected. Please give me the procedure to upgrade to 2.3 from 2.2 firmware.

                hitit, 23 May 2011i am new to android. do i lose my apps when i update using ... moreI'm in Australia and havent got any updates from Vodafone yet. I'm not sure about apps but when i was upgrading to 2.2 i had to back up my files in the internal memory before upgrading.

                  How's the update going? You guys happy now that Samsung finally got the update right? Anyway, enjoy your fragmented eco system fandroids. I'm sticking with my N8 until Nokia gets some WPs out. Until then, all other phones are just toys; specially if it has a Samsung logo on it.

                                Up dated to gingerbread, here are some changes I noticed –
                                1. Battery performance is much better than Froyo (stock)
                                2. Some icons changes
                                3. Gallery sensor bug is fixed
                                4. Task manager has new format
                                5. Battery use monitor has new format

                                        My XXJVO is working fine and according to benchmark softwares, it is giving me better performance than the samsung galaxy with stock 2.2 froyo in the charts...
