For checking notifications I can imagine that if you are away and get back and want to check time or new feeds but almost every mobile have notification light almost every mobile okay kid
And now as almost every mobile is gradually switching to pledge display so there is an option called always on display now don't say that it uses battery because it's usability is way more than a bargain for the toll battery pays and then comes dash charging in your beloved brand 1+
I don't know why does people say such things that they can't even defend
If you are so.much keen then simply don't buy at all but stop creating foolish comment for teh sake of comment it will only prove you stupid nothing else
And btw I am mate 9 n iPhone 7 plus user so I have simply nothing to do with new mobiles cause mine are running absolutely fine.

I think it will have a 835. The screen will be enough for some users to upgrade from the 3/3T or older. It also makes sense since the 3T had a 821, they didn't wait for the 835.

2: At least with Google you were entirely conscient that they sold you targeted ads. But with a company that serves no advertising, fetching that much info about YOU specifically is a concern.
3: No other company were caught cheating. I guess they have better thermal dissipation that OP. And benchs are supposed to show you how the device should perform in day-to-day tasks with numbers. If you modify the SoC's behavior during the test, you get non-representative numbers, which is false advertising. You know, like if a bank says ''Put your money in our bank and get 2% interests back!!!'' but you end up with 1.5% interests.
