Hadn't their latest CEO said they would only make high end devices ?!

Anonymous, 20 Mar 2018As always, very BEAUTIFUL.... but always FKING up the specs... morethe snapdragon is 450, not 430 as you mention. also, why use 1080p+ in a low-end cpu? to lag more? a 720p good quality screen is better than a bad 1080p. my blackberry z10 had 720p and had a great display. much better than all low-end smartphones with better specs on paper. if you don't like it go to Xiaomi, better specs on paper....and that's it.

Nokia 6 2018 is a lot better buy than that.

        Happy that there's no notch.

HTC isn't waking from slumber and making screen to body ratio slightly better. But still sticking with low power battery. Could have made it 3500 mah. 6 inch display requires bigger batteries. Let's see what is the pricing. HTC is known for asking the moon for their average products also.

HD+ and a Snapdragon 450? Bad. They should come through with a U series midrange. Hopefully, they'll use the Snapdragon 640.

The Moto X4 and Samsung A are the exceptions but theyre beyond this phone price. Sony M4 is too old but its close as you wanted.

                sd430 processor, 3gb ram mi phone-8k
                htc -18k approx?
                for god sake pricing attractive?

Attractive prices? Yeah if it had basic IP rating, dual speakers, Oreo 8.1, faster 3.1 USB Type-C speeds and a faster Cat6 (or higher) 4G speeds the very least. But with those current specs the price is at €30/£30 expensive.

HTC should be applauded for the headphone jack inclusion. The processor, not 100% sure. The old style USB port, nah, not in 2018.

That said, I thing the + looks really nice. Fingers crossed they add the headphone port and also wireless charging to the U12 +.

As per usual, htc underwhelm with lasts years hardware with their usual high price.
For the same kind of money there are loads of better devices to go for instead of an old, dull over-priced htc,and htc still scratch their heads why folk dont buy their kit !
They dont seem to have a clue, seem to lurch from one daft idea to another, while ruining the ones that helped them to sell some devices, start boomsound, then ruin it etc etc.
their remaining days are numbered very low now,htc should sell out to hmd/nokia,go back to how xda/htc first started and built a good reputation for, they can build other peoples designs realy well, what htc cannot do is design a good phone themselves anymore..

Snapdragon 450 has the same power as Snapdragon 625 but cheaper. If you want 630 you need to pay at least 300$. Even Asus cheapest phone with 630 is 400$. Nokia 6 2018 with Snapdragon 630 is the nearest with 290$+ price because 280 is in Euros.
