We don't NEED unbreakable screens Samsung! We need and want unscratchable screens!

Nothing new. Plastic covered amoled was succesfuly tested in Motorola Force devices since 2015. Plastic is not scrach resistant at all that is fact.

This plastic probably scratches. But at least if the panel itself wont break, it is possible to use a glass screen protector to protect it against scratches, and simply replace that when it breaks.
With glass panels, no matter what protector is on it, if it breaks upon dropping, the display is destroyed.

                  Substrate; cover material; phone glass.

I'll have to recheck my info.

I put on a protective plastic/glass on all of my phones to reduce micro scratches. Some even come with an oleophobic coating

Great news, but what about scratching the surface (front and back)? First I need to see and experience it, before believing it.

This is just a marketing advertisement for their bendable phone. That can't use glass. The plastic doesn't break, but how about the oleds below. She doesn't even turn the panels on. Lol

This video is retarded. It's like saying bicycle tires are better than race car tires, because they last longer and have smaller friction. How about not offering the same breaking surface? How about stability?
How about scratch proofing that freaking plastic? What solution is there for that?
Plus plastic phones will never have a real quality feel to it. Put this in a Note or the S series and see your sales decline.

But then of course you have to sacrifice scratch-resistance. You can only have one of those, but not both, so glass makers have to find a viable balance which is good for the masses
