The notch on phones is indeed ugly. Had plans buying an iPhone for the first time but the notch thing is a mess for me.

I was going to make the jump over to the dark side.
But oh XS max is so expensive that its not even funny.
There is no way i can justify that kind of money when Android is better and cheaper.

When you are paying 1000 euro for a phone you are looking to have the whole package, not just a good processor. Even though the A12 chip is very good is not enough for an expensive phone. Sadly, many important things are left behind by Apple.

Anyone who is smart with their money wont buy an Xs Max over a Note 9. Note 9 has higher resolution, more pixels per inch and most likely a better battery. Plus no notch, a dedicated fingerprint reader and a headphone jack. And it's a hundred dollars less and that's if you don't splurge on higher storage, a applecare plus plan and a headphone adapter (that apple is not packaging with the 2018 lineup) for the Xs Max.

Apple placed notch so that the bezel was even throughout the phone, yet have a space to fit in all their camera components in one spot.
Suddenly almost all Android phones introduce a notch for no reason, AND still have uneven bezel, yet the fans can all still insult ONLY Apple's notch. Lol
At least Apple is doing their thing. Razer gets my respect for also doing their thing, and keeping their dignity in design.

The only think apple for sure won is a huge loss in customers in numbers of happy people who expected a lot from new iphones but a cold shower made then to turn back to better android.

People buy iphone because they want to look cool and prestigious, but I think the opposite. Every time I see people with iPhone X in my country (which cost 1300), I just think they are stupid and isheep.... they spend more money to get something less..
I have the money to buy ipX, but no, they won't be getting money from me. 1000 usd above for smartphone is just silly.

very high prices with all of the unwanted things such as notch and no fast charging .. i really wonder how does apple think , with brains?!
