That's what matters, benchmarks don't matter Huawei phones are beasts in the real world and every one I've had performs like day one with zero lag. My Mate 9 actually feels even faster than before and performance has always been fluid, unlike the a series and Exynos which are only good at benchmarks, Kirin chipsets actually deliver in real life where it matters.

You do know every gen of Kirin outperforms the SD counterpart right? 950>810, 960>821, 970>835 now the trend continues 980>845. Kirin 980 is the 845's competitor in the same year, the 810 and 820/821 were pure crap in both speed tests and real usage compared to same gen Kirins they were benching 4000 while Kirins were at 6000 for multicore. 835 and 845 narrowed the gap but they still lag behind.

The objective Guy, 01 Oct 2018I was expecting this lead from the Kirin 980. Remember SD84... moreI do know the Kryo 4xx gold will be based on Cortex A76... So if a 2.5 GHz stock A76 bursts at 3300 points. I got the feeling SD855 will be Clocked at about 2.8 and land at 3800 or so.
and the silver ones will remain at 1.8 GHz, and score the decent 1250 points like usual.
ofcourse. It's a pure guess. so take it with a grain of salt. (Hm.... My Intuition does itch that the SD855 will claim around 11,950 points or so.)
                                      as for Exynos 9820*
Assuming they will keep up with the amazing job they've done with the Mongoose M3 to the M4. I can expect an easy 4900 points in single. but still around 12000 on multi.
so yeah. I do think there is what to expect guys.

WOAH! I knew the 980 would be powerful. but DAYUM.... 10,300!? SWEET!
